I am busy and have a fast paced lifestyle that leaves me with little time to prepare healthy lunch(sometimes dinner) foods. Food for Fitness is located in the center of downtown Austin so close and convenient. The employees are kind and helpful. The food is great; fresh full and well balanced meals that are prepared daily. They offer a wide variety of breakfast foods, snacks, salads, meat, fish and vegeterian entres. Try the Vegeterian Pad Thai. Great smoothies too, they don't use fillers like ice and sugar. Enjoy

Nutritionist/Chef Emily Crumpton prepares organic meals in this softly lit, inviting takeout eatery. There is just enough space for a long silver counter, a line and four tables along a wall of windows. Meats are free of hormones and antibiotics, and include turkey sausage, natural beef and wild salmon. Salads and spring rolls round out lunch and dinner menus while breakfast includes veggie omelets. The friendly staff also serves organic coffees, teas, juices and smoothies.
