The lady that takes care of my business... My lady business.. A clean, quiet, well lit room with a cozy couch to wait in? Check.

Already there was a positive lilt to what was going to be a devastating experience for my junk. After a very brief wait I was greeted by Angie, a friendly, if not down right perky, redhead (word up, sister) that exuded a "This is not my first rodeo" vibe that set my mind at ease. What can I say? I just feel more comfortable with someone who looks supremely confident moments before they're waxin' the beave.

After assuring her that I knew the drill, she left me to prepare myself (harness my chi), and politely knocked before entering a few minutes later. What proceeded was quite simply the most efficient, professional, by-the-book Brazilian this side of the equator. As a licensed cosmetologist, I know what's up. Not only was she efficient to a Germanic degree, she also made me laugh (no easy feat, peeps) and made me feel like Billy Badass when I'm clearly the biggest sissy in Texas. I was in and out in about half an hour. That lady works the Brazilian like Flo Jo.

You can bet I'll be back for my scheduled appt, because this lady has my ticket...

bad impression. I've always been told to make your best first impression. Well, my first impressiong of Angie was not very accommodating. I was trying to get an appointments weeks out and she kept telling me she couldnt because of different reasons. She didnt offer time of when there was an open appointment. Apparently all the days I wanted there was something happening that day. I had to keep reaching out to her and had calls back and forth. Very disappointing

Best wax experience!. As a modest client, Angie made me feel more than comfortable with the whole waxing process! Not only does she make you totally feel at ease but she's funny and makes the waxing fly by! I was in and out but didn't feel like she was rushing. Her space is very cute and relaxing. Anyone who is looking for someone who gives great waxes, go see Angie!

For Brazillian -Blush it is. Angie has been performing Brazillian waxing on my bottom for the last 2 years. Brazillian is not for everyone, it is painful, so don't get there thinking she is going to work magic and it will be effortless. What Angie does it make you feel at home, distract you and get the job done professionally. She offers suggestions on her website, and you must follow them. Angie is kind, funny, entertaining and loves what she does. Her place is NOT a spa. It is clean and cozy.

Best Esthetician In Central Texas!!. Ladies and Gents, if you've always thought the pain would be to much to bare, you've been wrongly informed. Angie is the best waxing queen in town. She has the perfect touch, plays calming music, explains to me each thing that she's going to do and asks me multiple times if I'm comfortable. She has a way of making the conversation take your mind off the situation at hand. I would recommend her to any and everyone. Her location is covenant and calming, she's always on time, I'm always thrilled with the results, and she's affordable. Not to mention her web site is so informative....There's just nothing more you could ask for!!

Perfect Perfect Perfect!!!. So i had my first brazilian with angie today based on reviews i'd read here...let's just say, she is worth every penny because her front and back lawn care is not something to be messed with. Now, not to sound snotty but I've been waxed while living in two of the most superficial cities in the US (that's LA and NY) and I do not skimp on maintenence when it comes to my little kittycat. Angie beats both of the places I used to get waxed and she's adorable, gentle, thorough and charasmatic to boot. Her office is soothing, she is soothing--overall a near perfect experience despite the fact that I was getting hair ripped outta my nether regions.

My only recommendations: don't be all shy and coy and do a little trim beforehand (guilty!) because it only makes life harder on both her and you. Go in there flaunting yourself in all your gnarliness. She won't make you feel bad about it.

And remember, cash or check only!

Great Service in Austin. My experience at Blush was outstanding because I've been to many other beauty salons/spas. Angie was very professional and did an amazing job with the waxing. I would highly recommended her services!

Best waxer ever!!!. Angie makes it a point to put you at ease for such an uncomfortable service. She is patient and tries her best to make it as painless as possible. I definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a clean and safe waxing service.

She is the BEST!. If you are looking to get a bikini wax, or any other kind of waxing, this is the place to go. This was my first "brazilian" type wax and I was more than a little concerned. Haven't had that much luck in the past with my bikini area. Angie discussed my options and concerns during our first phone call, set the appt. and I arrived a bit apprehensive. She put me at east right away. It was actually a good experience. I have had great success, following her advice and would recommend her to anyone! I will be back!!

Really is the best bikini wax in Austin. I originally found Angie through the Austin Magazine "Best Of" and have been going to her ever since. Let's face it - waxing isn't fun. She makes you feel comfortable and is super friendly. She schedules 30 minutes for a bikini wax (as opposed to some places in Austin that schedule 15 minutes), so she has time to limit your pain and also to be careful. She does fantastic facials, as well. Her new studio is very relaxing. I have recommended her to all of my friends!
