We were warned. We had heard it was bad...really bad. But we thought, it's close let's give it a shot. River Place resident's have been desperate for a good restaurant. This isn't it. Really bad food and horrible wine list. Just like we'd heard. Sometimes it pays to listen.

Created by Dan and Olga Gillcrist, part of downtown's La Traviata founding team, this elegantly festive bistro features traditional Italian dishes infused with more contemporary ingredients. Sandwiches and salads are lunch staples while popular evening dishes include polenta fries and bell peppers stuffed with ground beef, pork, rice and herbs. Professionals, couples and groups in their 30s through 50s dine at small tables under a large tiled mosaic wall or outside on a small patio.
