I was very impressed with the staff and the care my daughter received during her 2 visits. Dr. Restivo was personable and knowledgeable, Latesha( I think this was her name) was so friendly and made our first visit on 03/22/13 comfortable. The appointment the front office staff made for my daughter was an urgent one, and they got her in right away. Over all the office is efficient and well managed.
Yesterday, I just showed up at the office with a little eye problem hoping to make an appt. at a future time. However, they could get me right in almost at that moment, I had my exam, and am treating my eye with drops. My doctor was Dr. Fuller who I liked a lot. However, I am Dr. Restivo's patient and like him very much, too. I am returning in 3 months for a thorough yearly checkup.
The staff and doctor were all very nice, but I waited over an hour past my appointment time before I was seen by the doctor.
Dr. Restivo performed a flawless LASIK procedure on my eyes this summer and I have had fantastic results. He and his staff were responsive, professional and very pleasant to deal with during the entire scheduling and follow up process. Ive been a patient of Dr. Restivos for 9 years and I have total confidence in him and his professional abilities. I've recommended him to my family and friends who are all just as pleased with him as their doctor as I am!
I LOVE Dr. Restivo. I have been a patient of his for years. This morning my husband obviously had something wrong with his eye. I called at 8 am. and they said to come right away. We were there by 8:30 and Dr. Restivo took him in within 10 minutes. My husband had a piece of metal in his eye. It was removed and we were out the door by 9 a.m. Thanks to Dr. Restivo. He's a great doctor with a really great staff.
Finally, an eye doc that could really help me – Dr. Cottle is really great and was able to properly diagnose my red and constantly tearing eye problem and get me on a symptom management program. I have been to 2 eye docs in So. Calif. and 2 here in the Austin area with no success.......until Dr. Cottle. She's the best!!
We are very thankful we found Dr Cottle and Hill County Eye Center. Our entire experience with Dr. Cottle and staff has been magnificent. Answer to our prayers.
Wonderful doctors/great staff – Hill Country was recommended to me by the optometrist who'd been prescribing glasses to me for 25 years. I can recommend both Drs. Restivo and Cottle. After cataract surgery by Dr. Restivo he sent me to Dr. Cottle for corneal work. Both Drs are courteous, professional and concerned. The front office staff is prompt and very helpful while Jodi and Mindy make me feel comfortable and relaxed while doing the prep work for the doctors. I highly recommend this office.
Best eye care around! – Dr. Restivo was recommended to me by someone who had actually worked for an eye doctor in Austin. And now after having cataract surgery a few years ago, I've recommended Dr. Restivo to my friends many times. I've never had to wait for an appointment and this guy knows his stuff.
Three C's – Comfort, care, and concern....that is what I received when I had to make an urgent appointment. When you are in pain you just want someone to make it go away. Dr. Cottle was kind and caring as she listened to all the steps and medications that had been prescribed to alleviate my eye pain. She helped me undestand what was going on with my eye, modified my existing treatment plan and made me feel relieved and welcome to call her if I had trouble over the weekend.
The only thing I would change is perhaps a different form to fill out if someone is there on an 'emergency' visit and not a regularly scheduled first patient visit. Or at least a section on the form that indicates that it is not a normal first visit and a question about "why" you are there. But, that observation may also be skewed due to the amount of pain I was in while I went through all of the questions.
My overall experience was very good, from the phone call, to directions to the office, wait time, and care from staff while I was there.
