Disappointing Service. Don't let the Chronicle post of Best In Austin throw you off. The service here (Far West location) is impersonal, expensive, and not that skilled. The staff here seem to get along great with each other, but don't have much warmth for the customers. I didn't get the impression they cared about my expensive new suit, and sure enough, even though I made a big deal about the pants legs needing to be different lengths by about an inch, and even though both legs were pinned, they were whacked off and hemmed to exactly the same length, requiring a re-do. Some experienced pinning with the jacket would have also resulted in something that fits better as well. The result was an expensive alterations job and a suit that doesn't fit well as it should.
