Deck looks good, but not solid--and poor time management

Pros: Carlos was extremely nice, and ultimately, we love the way the deck looks that we commissioned him to make. Also, he was notably cheaper than another bid we got.

Cons: He never showed when he said he would, whether he came hours earlier than he said, hours later than he said, or not at all. Might not be an issue for some people, but we have dogs that couldn't be out when he was there (and we work full time) so all our attempts to plan around what he said were foiled. **Again, the deck looks great, however the railing is extremely unsturdy so my husband had to cement posts on the outer edge around the railing to sturdy it. A little annoying to have to do this after paying $4000. **Carlos said he would be giving us a gift to ensure we parted on good terms as we'd expressed some frustration with the time management, and explained a self-supporting swing that he would be giving us for the deck. We were thrilled. This never came. Also, after several days of my working from home to be here so he could pick up his stuff he left and his never showing, I ended up dragging it all to the front yard and leaving him a voicemail that I did this. Interestingly, he managed to come that very day to get it all.

• Pros: Nice guy, cheaper than competitors, deck *looks* good
• Cons: Poor time mgmt, deck unsturdy, never did what he said

I love my new fence!

Carlos Garcia worked diligently with me to find a fence style and materials that suited my taste, budget and practical needs. He listened to me and incorporated my needs/preferences in the end product. He provided several options. He was very patient with my decision process and very flexible in modifying the plan to make it fit my needs.

He was very responsive -- very quick to return my phone calls. I believe he has a lot of integrity and I feel that I could trust him with any project--large or small.

I look forward to working with him on future projects.

Couldn't have asked for better...

After many contractors telling me it couldn't be done, Carlos Garcia said "We can do it". I wanted to remodel my mother-in-laws bathroom and closet while she was on vacation. I gave Carlos and his brother Arturo Herrera 4 days, and they pulled it off. From new tile in the shower, to new tile on the floor and everything in between. They did an amazing job. I am so lucky to have found them.

Extremely Happy!

Looking at my kitchen, I can't believe how nice it looks. The cabinets are in better shape than when first installed. Everyone from Twin Brothers that I dealt with was very professional. Thanks for a job well done!

True Professionals

Thank you for the excellent workmanship on my new roof...My experience with home repairs - from roofers to painters to plumbers etc. is that it has most often been a hassle. The experience with your company has given me faith that good people are still out there and that quality work at reasonable prices exists. We were very impressed with the competence, politeness and pleasant attitude of your entire crew of workers. What a wonderful surprise to find such professionalism these days.
