Loved the first time there.
The first time I called and nobody answered, I left a voicemail and nobody got back to me within a week. However, once I called back and got a hold of somebody on the phone I was able to book an
appointment for a week later. I chose a busy season (early spring) but I would recommend booking early, they seem to fill up 5-6 days in advance. However, they are open saturdays and have a good drop off policy.
This was my dog's first time being groomed so she was shaggy and I was worried she would be scared. However she seemed very happy when I picked her up and she looked GREAT. They asked me for specifics and did a good job meeting my requests. The price was moderate, definitely worth it for the good service. I would definitely bring my dog back.…
Awesome Place.
This salon is unlike any other place we have ever had our pets groomed. The place is clean, smells fantastic, and the personnel are so friendly and know just what to ask for them to give us a
perfect haircut. Not everyone that has groomed our dogs (soft wheaten terriers) knew what they were doing, but the kids came home from GOA, not only beautiful and properly groomed, but very happy.
Now I know why so many people said Groomingdales is the place to go. We are so grateful that we found a place that treats our "kids" as though they were their own.

Groomingdale's is really great. After nearly a year with Groomingdale's, I want to say that I would never want to take my dog anywhere else! I have a very shy 8 lb toy poodle and she doesn't mind going at all. They are so careful with her and she always comes home beautifully groomed and without a nick or cut. They are the best pup salon that I have ever encountered. Kudos for their excellent customer care and personal attention to my dog's personality and needs.…
ehhh. I brought my brussels griffon here to be groomed for the first time last november and I wasn't really impressed. Daphne, my brussels, was about 10 months old so her hair was gettin' a little scraggly and matted. I admit, I wasn't taking much care of her hair. They were kind at the desk and asked me how I wanted her hair cut. I just told them to trim her down to get rid of the matted parts but I wanted to keep her beard. Let's face it, that's what makes the brussels breed unique! So they call me a couple of hours later to tell me she's ready. When I picked her up i was stunned...she had been shaved down but all her hair on her head was still the same length....she kinda looked like a lion! I came to the conclusion that they didn't have much experience in grooming the brussels breed. They were very friendly and nice to squeeze us in last minute, that's why I gave them 3 stars.…
