Yummy Stuff!

I come to Paciugo every week and have tried almost every single flavor and some of their coffee drinks. They have some really unique flavors and since gelato is not as bad for you as ice cream I don't feel too bad about my weekly trips! This place is definitely worth a try if you haven't been by yet.

I recently visited this place at their downtown location after reading the glowing reviews here. I have tasted their gelato before in Central Market (which I love), and was not overly impressed then, and I am not overly impressed now. The flavor is just not as vibrant as I am used to from other gelato I have had. It was also much less creamy than I have come to expect. Don't get me wrong. It is edible. It's just certainly not the best gelato in Austin.

I was told that this is a chain out of Dallas? I definately prefer to do my shopping local, when I can. I would highly recommend Teo or Gelato's over this brand.

BEST GELATO in AUSTIN

This is by far the best gelato place in Austin. Puts the other places to shame. I just got back from Italy, and this is just as good if not better than what I ate for the past 2 months!!! You must try this place if you are an ice cream lover. The people there are very friendly as well. I have been ther 3 times already, I took a big crowd over there and they all said this is the best place in Austin. It must be since, we were having dinner at La Traviata and our waiter told us to go there for dessert. I have to thank that guy for his suggestion. If you get a chance stop in there. This is a must try place in Austin. Go there you wont be disappointed I promise.
