I've had the pleasure of really getting to know Chinatown Center and what it has to offer Austin after helping them plan their special events over the past 12 months. I'll be the first to admit that
prior to Chinatown Center, I really didn't know where to go other than Houston (where I grew up) to get what I needed if I wanted to make authentic Chinese dishes or even eat authentic Chinese meals. I love the selection that MT Supermarket has to offer, and I really like how spacious and clean it is compared to the "normal" Asian grocery stores.
And my two favorite restaurants in the Center have to be First Chinese BBQ and Pho Saigon...and I can't wait for Kim Son to open...but if these don't appeal to you, no worries as they have 5 more other restaurants you can choose from. Definitely worth at least one visit if you've never been before.…
