Treat your body well at Tigerlily. Douglas Rutkowski is one of the finest health professionals I have been privileged to know. His fees are so affordable, I wonder how he stays in business. His results are miraculous. After many years of suffering, my chronic stomach pain is gone. I would recommend him to anyone who is willing to follow his recommendations to achieve optimal health.

I will NEVER go back. I paid for the introductory session through Groupon. My needs were not fulfilled. I was not examined properly. Douglas Rutkowski might not be a bad person, but not a good acupuncturist according to me. First you need people skills to make the patient comfortable. He made few remarks which did not make me comfortable or happy. Everyone is different and I think Douglas should not make generalization and I think he should treat each one as an individual rather than assuming they would be a certain way because they are from a different part of the world. He told me that I had to take herbal supplements, but he refused to prescribe any pills on that day and told me that he would prescribe next time when I come there! Next time?... It just seemed to me like "OK this is how much you paid for through Groupon, so you will get only this. Come here next time and I'll give you what you pay for." I didn't think about it at that time and rescheduled another appointment, but then when I got home the treatment I received was not worth it. I was not happy and will not go back, and also would not recommend him to anyone.

Can't get any better than this for acupuncture!. Used a Groupon, which is getting to be scarier and scarier as some establishments are scheduling Groupon customers separately...not so here.

I'll get right to the best part, the part of the story where you know these people are on your side! Aside from the neck and shoulder pain I came in for, I mentioned another condition in my medical history. Doug noticed it and told me there was another acupuncturist in town that was especially good at addressing this condition. He gave me a referal, at the risk of loosing my business. That sold me on Tiger Lily as a health provider I can trust.

Doug is really good at explaining things...and showing you how the treatment is working. Before putting in a needle he had me move my head (ouch)...he put the needle in and asked me to move again...no pain. Got to see the impact of acupuncture in action.

I'll be back!

First time acupuncture. This was my first time getting acupuncture and it was a great, relaxing experience. I was initially concerned that the needles would be painful but I didn't even notice they were there. The staff was very friendly. My only complaint is that they changed my appointment three times which got annoying.

Great First Acupuncture Experience. This was a great first experience with the art of acupuncture. I can't say that I had mind-bendingly amazing results, but I was pain free for 3 days. I suffer chronic back, shoulder, neck, and knee pain, so a 3 day respite definitely did my body and mind good. It was a VERY relaxing experience. To my surprise, I actually fell asleep with all the needles in my back, neck, and legs! I woke up feeling like a million bucks. I did have a few dizzy spells afterwards, but I can't be sure that was due to the acupuncture. I really enjoyed the staff. They were very hospitable and exuded a powerful sense of calm (this is always good when you're letting someone stick needles in you). Vanessa was very nice, and took the time to listen to my plethora of health issues. I feel like she took my complaints seriously, and did everything she knew how to fit into that session to help me. I would love to return. Give them a try! You won't regret it.

Definitely a magical experience.... Even with my strong dislike, and fear, of needles, acupuncture has always been of interest to me. All of the people I know who have gone had always wished they'd not waited so long to go. With a Groupon in hand, I almost chickened out on going. I'm so glad I followed my intuition as it's been life changing. As a beginner runner I was very frustrated with the pain in my left knee and even with a support band it was challenging. My first run after my initial consultation and treatment with Vanessa, I ran without the brace (honestly didn't even think about putting it on) and had absolutely zero pain. Amazing. On the initial paperwork I had a long list of things I'd like to gain from acupuncture and after 6 visits I definitely feel more like myself than I have in quite a few years. Vanessa has such an intuitive spiritual presence, she has a gift that has both blessed my life, as well as saved my life. The downward spiral of grief and sadness that had surrounded my path is lifting. I'm forever grateful to her.

Peaceful and pain relieving therapy. Very helpful in diagnosing treatment plans for muscle pain and other issues. Provides herbal remedies and advice. The needles don't hurt and it's very peaceful when they're working on your Qi!

Hoping to get pregnant!. I found out about this place through Groupon and decided to give it a try. My husband and I are trying to have a second child and hoping that this along with our infertility doctor will help us get pregnant again. Doug was very informative and kind in explaining how acupuncture works. He also recommended some supplements that I will be starting this week. I will be going back weekly and hoping for good results in the next few months.

Really helped my back!. I had never done acupuncture before and came to Tiger Lily bc of their Groupon, and man was it worth it. Doug Listened to all of my issues/symptoms, gave advice on how to address general life issues, and then performed acupuncture and cupping to restore circulation in areas of my back that have been causing me issues for months now. I'll definitely be going back, and recommend that others give this healthy form of relief as a way to improve their body, mind, and soul.

Unmanaged STRESS - finally relief!. I guess I hadn't been dealing with my stress levels very well, and started to experience head to toe body pain. I know that diet and exercise would help but I was always too exhausted from the constant pain to do anything about it. After my first few visits, along with the Chinese herbs that Doug prescribed, I am now pain free, and have all the energy that I need. I also no longer feel the effects of stress. Thank you Doug!
