Editorial Review for Blue Star Cafeteria – by Chip Rankin
In Short
Despite the name, this restaurant is pure table service. Billed as upscale "comfy" food, Blue Star's menu showcases '50s-inspired diner foods with a contemporary twist. Freshly prepared under the direction of Chef Lorie Lawler, staple dishes are given a unique treatment and include honey-glazed pork chops and coconut and cornflake chicken tenders. The bustling restaurant's silver, mocha brown and light blue interior is filled with casually dressed patrons, spanning from toddlers to seniors.

The restaurant name is Blue Star Cafeteria. The Home Depot thing is a major error evidently...the restaurant should be very annoyed.

What a fantastic place. We have been in there three days in a row, either for lunch/dinner and then brunch today. The manager on duty even recognized that we had been in three days in a row and came over and talked to us. The staff here is great and very attentive to everything. The food wonderful, if not we would not be there. In response to the other review that we read, It is call Blue Star Cafeteria. And all I can say is that when we were in there, there were plenty of kids and the staff and manager on duty were talking away to the kids. I just don't understand why anyone would think that this wasn't a kid friendly place. Thanks, Blue Star for being in our neighborhood.
