Rigged ratings

I'm looking for a gutter installer and came to citysearch as I always do to filter through the companies. As the poster before me pointed out, the ratings on this company come from a ring of posters, all rating each others companies. Just click on the user names and you can see they rated each other in the same week. Really hurts this sites credibility. So while this company may be spectacular, the fact they use deceptive practices in padding their ratings, indicates they arent that honest. I will shop elsewhere.

• Pros: WHo knows?
• Cons: Will cheat to gain ratings so what else will they do?

These ratings are totally rigged.

First, these 5 star reviews are about a year old and the individuals that "earned" these glorious ratings could have moved on so there's a teeny, tiny, almost impossible chance that they are legit but I don't think so.

I started this process this summer. I called, phone service takes a message. I get a call a few days later, I call back a few days later, and, just my luck, he can be at the house that morning. Great! Didn't show. No biggie - I figured he got tied up. 2 WEEKS pass. No I didn't call. We're living in a fixer upper and I don't get stressed about this stuff. I call back to see when they'll show, phone service takes a message (it will always be a phone service btw that does not know who they are working for or where they are - clueless). An appt. is made. The guys come out (Mike I think is the one I've been working with but I'm not sure - like I said, we have a lot of traffic at the house with contractors). When they did get here, I was very hopeful. They seemed honest, knowledgable, amicable. Good guys. Said I'd hear from them shortly. After about a month I finally call the clueless phone service and leave a message. It's never returned. I called again today. I don't care if they return it. I have no idea what the problem is and there's really no excuse. Fortunately, I don't have work or $$ tied up with them. I wrote this review as a warning. Which brings me to point number 2.

Check out the dates on the reviews - all almost exactly 1-2 wks. apart. Almost EXACTLY. Click on usernames. There is a common thread of businesses from one to the next - almost like a chain letter. I am so naive. Of course someone would have come up with something like this! It appears that someone has put together a group that cycles through businesses giving each other glorious reviews. Like I said, I am so naive. I was so excited to find a co. with so many good reviews and, at this point, I am 100% convinced it's bogus. Zero stars.

• Pros: Absolutely zero.
• Cons: Risky. Untrustworthy. Could lose $$ and time.

Fabulous Job!

Andy, You kept your promise and was here the day and TIME you said you would be.Your crew men were the best: They got the job done quickly, they were dressed nice, no loud music and very professional.

I also appreciated that you got a bid to me the day you measured the job, you were here both days you crew was here, and you personally delivered the invoice to see if I was satisfied with the job. Many companies would have e-mailed or mailed it. I was super impressed with that personal service.

I would recommend your company to anyone needing gutters. I give you 5 stars for sure!!!!

Real Lifesaver!

Seamless gutters are a real lifesaver! My gutters and downspouts are working as they were designed to, regardless of the season. In the first year alone, it has paid for itself in time and money. Great service and great product.
