Cannot recommend. I am a believer in collaborative law - the best approach to the terrible divorce experience - and Cristi is genuinely a strong proponent. In my experience, she was easy to speak with and sought to provide good client experience, likely more so than most attorneys.

However, I must say that I felt under-represented at multiple times during the long divorce process. My ex-wife's collaborative attorney was more active on her behalf, and I sometimes felt on my own. A few times I even felt that Cristi might be more focused on maintaining collaborative attorney-attorney relationships than to me as a client, which made me uncomfortable.

If I had to do it all over again, I would go a different direction. So I cannot recommend.…

Trusler firm helped me get through my divorce. I chose the Trusler firm because I wanted to follow a collaborative divorce process. Unfortunately, that's not how it played out, and the negotiations became prolonged, complicated and threatened to become very expensive (if they progressed to litigation). Cristi did a great job of leading us through a mediated settlement agreement that addressed all of our issues in a way that was fair - I won some battles, and conceded others...but in the end we were able to get this matter finished and closed without litigation and for what were reasonable legal expenses. I appreciate that Cristi and her team kept me up to date, returned my calls and emails promptly, and were very responsive. They made a bad life experience very tolerable.…
