Awesome food though not much to look at.... Well, I went here because we had a buy one get one coupon and am I ever glad we did! The place is clean, but is very simple and not a lot of fluff. The service was great too, they catered to us and we didn't have to beg for anything as long as we asked. My husband and I each had enchilada plates. The food was hot, spiced just right, and plenty to fill up even my hubby's big belly. Even the prices are reasonable. The salsa was good too... you can usually get an idea of how good a place is by how the salsa tastes. I have not tried anything else yet, but you can bet, I will be back!

do not judge a book by its cover!. this place has amazing food! fresh! yummmmmy! like you would not believe. The puffy tacos burst in your mouth...greasy but not in that dirty heavy gross way.. and the meat is fine and flavored with some array of cumin and spices that is warm but not overwhelming...the cheese just oozzzzes through like this glue holding it together...yummmmmy yummmmmy

the tamales..are also very good.

Wow!. I don't want to mislead anyone. This is not a fancy restaurant. It is a DIVE, but if you pass this up you are missing some very good food. Have you ever had an awesome taco from a van (roach coach)? If no, jump to the next link. If yes, and you wish that coach had a permanent place to sit under a roof and enjoy a soft drink...a place you could bring the family, eat a quick lunch, fill your gut on a budget, week after week, this is the joint.

This place looks like a candidate for eminent domain urban renewal, but it's relatively clean, friendly and they serve mouth-watering food. They will even make things that aren't on their menu, as long as they have the ingredients. If you want your food made a certain way, minus something or something added, say it at the order counter. If you whine about it afterwards, you're either new to dives or an ass.

It's an order-at-the-counter, pick up your tray place, with plastic tableware, but you'll drool when you think back to the magical time you first tasted their enchilada gravy. I hear that the hamburgers are great, but I can't quit ordering beef enchiladas!!!!
