Excellent Experience. I had an exceptional piercing experience at Monster Tattoo. After having some horrible piercing experiences at other shops, I decided to go to Ian because of his wealth of experience and training.

I was quite nervous, and he explained the whole process and made me feel at ease. He was kind, gentle and over the top professional. He took his time to make sure my nipple piercings were symmetrical. He was sure to clearly inform me about the after care needed and answered all of my questions.

My piercing experience was stellar, my piercings look beautiful and Ian is amazing. He is THE MAN to go to if you want holes poked in ya. I highly recommend this clean and well run shop!!

INK. Hillary is da boss! bad ass artist got inked in about 7 different states and enjoyed her and her work, she covered a few stuff from other artist, just plain old bad ass chick wish i was here longer so i could get more

HILARY IS AMAZING!!. went to Hilary with an idea and she turned it into something amazing!! she does amazing work with color and she exceeded and went beyond my expectations!! LOVE LOVE my tattoo and will definitely be going back to Hilary!!!

friendly staff and great artists!. I went into Monster Tattoo with the attitude like this will be like every other shop I've been to. Man was I shocked when I was greeted with a hello and a smile the second I walked through the door! I looked at the only two portfolios there ( Anthony and Hilary) They had some awesome work! They were very helpful when it came to explaining my ideas for the tattoo I wanted, it was a completly custom piece. I paid my $20 deposit for the drawing (which comes off the price of the tattoo btw) and in 2 days had my tattoo done! It healed perfectly and is exactly what I wanted! I am very happy I went there and recommend them to all my friends!

Shop with class. Walking into this shop you can tell they know whats going on. I love my tattoo from Anthony! It's perfect! I can't wait to go back and see them!

Great piercing. I walked into this parlor after reading the 4 reviews on here, and told them i wanted my cartilage done. The girls in there were extremely nice and made everything as smooth as possible. The girl that pierced mine was through about how to clean it and all that stuff. I would recommend this parlor to anyone. Definitely coming back to get my tattoo done!

Love My Tat!!!. Monster tattoo is probably the best tatoo parlor ive been to in a long time.their art is amazing and the staff there is friendly and make u feel like one of the gang.the parlor was clean and neat and the organization is what is what is going to keep me commin back for more ink!(that and my already compleated work!!)

but if you are looking for quality work and awsome artists i highly recommend Monster in san marcos!!!

Some REALLY great work!!!. I went to this shop, Monster tattoo, after trying out a few other shops in the area. Immediately I realized how clean and sterile they were. I enjoyed every minute there and loved the tattoo work done on me and my friends. The staff was very nice and opened everything in front of me as to show that everything was sterilized. My friend even asked to see the sterilization procedures and they surprisingly had no problem and showed all of us how things were done. I HIGHLY reccommend this shop to anyone who is thinking about getting a tattoo or piercing also because of how low the prices were compared to other shops. The only other good shop in town is Classic Tattoos...ask for Morgan, but I found my home at Monster!!

Possibly the Worst in San Marcos. Horrible work at high prices. If this is what you're looking for, they're the shop for you! Besides, tattoo shops that give out coupons must be doing something wrong...
