Best Hair Hair Salon in CP area!

I have lived here 6 years and FINALLY found someone I trust and really like to do my hair. I had a wash, cut, style, and highlights for a great deal! Yeah...it's not the fanciest salon but, I love the ladies there. Lynn is awesome. I know another person complained about her being a little too personal about her acne but, that is just how she is! She just loves helping people! My 3 year loves her too.

Affordable, fun and great style!

I traveled a lot and Lynn is one of the two best hair-stylists I ever had (the other one is in Hawai’i). At other hair salons I either received poor service, and ugly haircut, or I was charged exorbitant prices. In some cases, I was pressured into having a hairstyle that I did not like, because the beautician insisted that would have looked better on me.

I had none of these problems at Modern Hair Salon, in Cedar Park. I can’t say enough how pleased I am with Lynn’s service. She always does what I ask her to do, she does it well, and at an affordable price. Efficient and skilled, a perfectionist in fact, she won’t let me go until she has made the best out of me. She is also fast, and genuinely friendly. I never had to wait much, even when I just walked in and every visit to her parlor has been pleasant and comfortable. Lynn welcomed me at all times, and made herself available even on a Sunday, when I needed. She accommodated me in every possible way, like a friend would do. I am grateful to have found her!

Great hair cuts without an appointment at half the price of the JCPenney Salon

I was going to the Lakeline mall JCPenney Salon for 8 years where I received great haircuts, however it was becomming increasingly expensive and I was always waiting for at least 30 minutes even though I had an appointment. I decided to try Modern Hair Salon because it was highly recommend to me by a friend. I received the same great hair cut at half the price and without the hassle of setting appointments on limited days to see my hair stylist. I just come in when it is convenient for me and the wait is minimal, in fact much less than when I was setting appointments at JC Penney. Lynn does a great job of cutting hair the way you like it.

The Best Haircuts in Leander/Cedar Park

I can't imagine that one reviewer going into the same salon that I have been going into for the past several months. I have tried several other stylists in the past several years, at times resorting to just cutting my own hair and my kids, because I thought there wasn't an adequate stylist in my price range. The first time I went into Modern Hair Salon it was 20 minutes past closing and I offered to come back the next day, but Lynn sat me down and in 10 minutes I had the best haircut I'd had in years! The next day I brought my daughter in --- my teenage daughter that hated to get her haircut anywhere because it's so thick and curly, I would inevitably have to "fix" it once we were home. Now, my daughter won't go anywhere else. She and my teenage son and my husband have also gotten their hair cut before by Vuilma (I think that's her name.... can't remember now, but she's very sweet), and any of us have yet to be disappointed.

These women are very friendly, very professional, and the salon is nothing like the one "horrendous" patron described. The only explanation I can think of is that that person went to another salon and mistakenly thought the name was Modern Hair Salon, or it's a rival stylist in another salon.

I have recommended them to friends and family, and if Lynn ever moves we will follow her!
