Editorial Review for Tino's Greek Cafe – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
Medical professionals, Anderson Mill area residents and fans of Greek cuisine line up during lunch and evenings and keep the café busy. After ordering at the cafeteria buffet, diners pay and select a table inside or on the patio. Large blue and white diamond-shaped tiles line the floor, complementing the large photo murals of Santorini. Outside tables are located on the strip mall patio, enclosed by planters and offset by colorful Christmas lights.

I went there last night thinking it'll be easy and convenient and hopefully good. It was WAY over priced and mediocre tasting. The fun came about 30 mins after - I had the worst headache, nausea, stomach cramps, and aches. (and that was the only thing I had had to eat for over 5 hours so I know it was Tino's food). And I can't believe they charged $3. extra for the same small portions of slop they must serve at lunch. NEVER AGAIN! It makes me sick just thinking about it.

Cons: overpriced food that makes you sick

This is the first review I have ever done. My experience at Tino's was so bad, I sought out a vehicle to share it with potential Tino's customers. My son and I tried this restaurant for dinner on 28 Dec 2007. Both the food and personnel attitudes were awful. We each had a plate with the sliced lamb (barely warm), falafel (cool to the touch), spanakopita (cool to the touch), and dolma (actually cold). The people behind the counter were only interested in getting us through the line. When I complained about the cold food, I got only a shrug. I have no idea if they were just having a bad night or if this is normal. In any case I will never go back.

Pros: None

Cons: Indifferent staff, bad food
