The seating isn't stadium style, but replaced everyother row with a table. The other bonus is that you get away from the crowded megaplexes and hordes of teenagers. They show the usual fair of new releases and replay some wacky older films, which are sometimes paired with a theme, like sushi and a karate flick. I think I've gone to the Drafthouse at least once a month!
What happened???. Went to see the Kings Speech. Loved it. But food and service where HORRIBLE!! Sweetie got sick all night. Throwing up. My hamber was good but not worth ten bucks. Getting a beer and an appetizer took 20 mins. Oh well. Lesson learned. I will NEVER come back. Sticking to Cinemark.
Such a great place!. I just discovered Citysearch and I want to leave positive reviews for great local companies that I love. Alamo is always a fun experience. We take our grandchildren and they always have a wonderful time!
all you can want from a theater with food and drink. i love this place! the crowd is there for the movie or show and they make sure of it. if you talk or text, they will kick your ass out and that is lovely. service and food is always good. they should have one in every town in the nation. you can tell they care about the experience and do everything they can to enhance it. REMEMBER THE ALAMO!!!
Shopping center restaurant, bar and theater showing independent and classic films..
In Short
Owners Karrie and Tim League redefine the movie-watching experience. This Lake Creek branch of their chain is a haven for those who can appreciate quality independent productions and have fun with cult classics. Interactivity, theme nights, filmmaker and star appearances are all normal behavior. Atypical theater fare fills the menu--pizzas with campy movie-related names like "Poultrygeist" Chicken Pesto to complement bottles of Fat Tire or Anchor Porter.
