Austin >Global Auto Sales & Inspctns
TERRIBLE! THIEVES. They will take your money and refuse to stand behind the work to your vehicle. It will be fixed for a few hours and break soon after. Do yourself a favor and avoid this shop. You may save money at first,, but the time, heartache and stress isn't worth it! You'll end up paying someone else to fix the damage they Global creates.
WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!. We were recommended to go here by the people at the AutoZone on Congress. I will definitely tell them not to refer anyone else here! When we first got to the shop, the owner asked me how many miles my car had on it. I replied "49000" and told me to take it to the dealer because it's under warranty. I told him that it's not under warranty and that I wanted it fixed there and he kept arguing with me about it. Next he told me that they wouldn't have time to fix it. Keep in mind he hadn't even heard what was wrong with the car yet! I told him that I already talked to someone this mornign who said the part takes like 15 minutes to replace and that they would do it today. He finally agrees to do it. Upon discussing the needed part, I told him that AutoZone (who referred me to him) had it for $22.99. He said that AutoZone's parts never ever work. I told him that his statement was untrue b/c it would be ILLEGAL if AutoZone's parts never worked. He said he would only fix it if I got a part from the dealer (which cost twice as much). So I finally agreed and then he said that I had to go pick up the part myself. He couldn't even give us directions how to get there. He just said "It's down the road ten minutes" and we asked him "What road?" He just said "Ben White". Wrong...it was on 35 and we just happened to stumble across it. We brought the part back to them and the owner was gone but we refused to leave without the estimate. One of the mechanics did the estimate for us and charged $28 for labor and $30 for an oil change. They said they'd be done in about an hour. Six hours later, we had to call them to see if they had finally done it. When we went to pick it up, the owner presented us with a $90 bill. It included an oil change, parts, and $45 for labor. WE PICKED UP THE PARTS AND PAID FOR THEM OURSELVES, YET HE TRIED TO CHARGE US FOR THEM AGAIN! Also, we were quoted almost half the labor orignally. The owner said he was helping us out--the charge was actually $90. LIES!!!!
