Pushy, Dishonest. Not long ago I brought a piece of jewelry here to inquire about selling, and I was aware of it's worth beforehand. In spite of it's value, the owner, Linh, offered me less than what the platinum alone was worth by weight, and didn't even take into account the diamonds in the jewelry. I immediately felt an awful feeling, like something was wrong and she should not be trusted. She told me that was all she could offer for it and that "They had to pay their light bill and would need to make money off of it." She kept repeating that. I told her that I was not in need of the money and in no rush to sell, (I just wanted my jewelry back and wanted out of there..) but she wouldn't give it back to me. She then offered me more cash (still less than the platinum value), but I refused and said I said I was not going to sell. She continued to push me and make me feel rushed into selling, as if she was trying to get me flustered or get me to break simply to force her to stop asking. She finally gave it back to me when she realized it wasn't working.

I would advise anyone to stay away, this woman is pushy, untrustworthy, dishonest, manipulative, greedy... If I could rate this place NO stars, I would have.

Great place to get fine jewelry. My Fiance and I went here to buy a new setting for my engagement ring. He had purchased a basic setting with the diamond. My fiance had previously purchased a beautiful sapphire pendant from here and he was very happy with the service. He was right!!!

I have seen bad reviews for this place and I don't really understand why. The customer service was wonderful! My setting is gorgeous and people keep asking me if it is custom made. It is actually a designer piece. Linh also did the appraisal for the engagement ring and she came back with a great appraisal! She will be honest with you about the value of your item when appraising it. Her son, Huy, was also very helpful. They spent over an hour with us. We left the diamond with her and she had it set and sized in the course of 2 days! She even showed us the serial number on our diamond on the microscope (which no matter where you go you should check if you have dropped off your diamond-even if it is a reputable store), which an honest place should do on their own. We also ordered my wedding band and we will be ordering my fiance's from here as well. Linh and Huy have great customer service skills and some great items. Take a look at this place if you are interested in purchasing fine jewelry. It really is worth a look!

Great experience for a novice. After saving me from myself by helping me select a really nice pair of blue topaz earrings for my girlfriend last Valentine's Day, we decided to go there to pick out my wedding band. Apparently, they must be doing something right...seriously personalized service and an incredible selection, every time.

Service with a smile :). I can't say enough about how wonderful my experience was at American Blue Diamond. The owners were professional and very knowledgable. The gemologist and owner, Lihn, was great. She answered all of my questions and was very patient and kind. I felt that she was very honest and upfront. I appreciated that so much. The jewelry is breathtaking! If I could have bought one of everything - I would have! It so hard to find good service these days so it was refreshing to be treated so well. Highly recommended!!!!

Affordable Elegance. From the first time that I walked into the store, and each trip thereafter for that matter, has been a wonderful experience due to the knowledge shared with me and the care taken to ensure that I would get exactly what I wanted. The quality of what I received was far better than expected and at an affordable price! I've never been anywhere like American Blue Diamonds~ Linh actually cares about what you WANT and shows you how she does it. They take pride in their work and will do what it takes to ensure satisfaction. The jewelry selection in the store is all beautiful and unique. I can honestly say that I will not do business anywhere else, now that I've found them!

Great service. Here's the deal, I have read some of the bad review this store has gotten and I can't really see where they are coming from. I just recently bought a engagement ring from Blue diamond and i and pretty satisfied. YES, she does try to show you EVERYTHING in the store, BUT isnt that a good thing? She was more then willing to work with me and my budget. She even went so far as to pop a stone out of a different ring just becasue I liked it so much. I honestly feel that I got more of a value here than the other places I was shopping around at. ( Zales, Jared..etc...)

I had my ring custom made, and when I looked at it, the center stone seemed a little lop-sided. I took it home and thought about it a little more, i wanted this to be PERFECT, so, I took it back a day later and voiced that I wasnt 100 % satisfied with the stone setting. She took the ring back (happily) and sent it to her jeweler to get it fixed for me for FREE. At this point, I feel like I will gladly go back to her for my wedding bands. Just be patient with her, and you will be rewarded.

Awesome Service. My husband bought my engagement ring here and the owner spend a lot of time with him showing him all the different options of rings and diamonds. He picked out a amazing diamond and a great ring. When we were picking out our wedding rings, we went back there to look. Since I wanted a simple band to match my ring, they went ahead and gave my husband a full refund on the ring he bought and applied it to the new ring that matched the band I picked out. We go back once a year to get out rings polished up and make sure that the stone is still in good shape. I always enjoy going there, because of the GREAT service, quality of diamonds, and wonderful work. I would suggest that anyone looking to buy jewlery stop by American Blue before buying any where else,.

Absolutely beautiful custom rings. We could not find our rings till coming to this store and they designed for us right in the store with computer software and milling machine. We tried the waxes before they casted in gold then set diamonds. Finally, we got absolutely beautiful rings with exceptional lower prices! We are very happy and will be back. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to have a unique ring.

The best customer service, best price. We wanted to spend only $1,000 but we wanted a nice diamond engagement ring. The owner worked really hard to find one fit our budget and it was very beautiful 14KW gold engagment ring with a decent round center with all diamond accent delicated set on two sides of the ring. The owner is very educated and professional. Her husband is an American guy and he is very nice, too.

The ring must be size down to size 4 (very small) and the owner had it done for us in one hour free of charge. Other store would take us one or two weeks to do the same job.

Thank you very much and we will be back.

Best design and service. I went to the store with my sweat-heart and found this store has lots of bridal designer rings. I was very picky and we went to shop all around other jewelry stores in town but nothing I would want to wear for my life! It took me many times to visit the store to try on and to eliminate multiple rings charming me to possess. The owner was very patient and explained to us in very detail. Finally, I got a beautiful bridal set with diamond with the price well fitting to our budget. I could not ask for more than that....Highly recommend for everyone...
