Shoe Boxes
Great Shoe Selection & THEY HAVE CLOTHES!
by txredheart
I went into this store for the first time back in December and was so surprised to find that have a huge selection of women's clothing and it's CUTE and AFFORDABLE! I looked at so many things...blouses, dresses, jeans, jewelry and shoes! I ended up buying a great wool coat on sale for a great price and some earrings for a gift for someone else. I get compliments on that coat all the time! PLUS their shoe selection is HUGE... boots, sandals, cute fashionable stuff as well as tennis shoes, and high end shoes that are "healthy" for your feet. I can't believe I haven't found this place before, it's right near where I live, but I guess I always thought they only sold shoes...Don't let the name fool you...they have great clothes too!
- Pros: Great selection Shoes AND Clothing, Great prices, regular sales
- Cons: I didn't find it sooner!
Great prices - fun clothes, fun accessories and loads of shoes

A friend of mine took me to Shoe Boxes after an afternoon of flipping through a fashion mag. It is a boutique where you can get great unique pieces with prices that don't go past $60!!! I just recently came here to look for some outfits for a wedding weekend and found some great pieces at great prices (spent less than $50 for a jacket and a top). Staff is friendly and helpful and they have replaced the fitting room curtains with solid doors. Shoes aren't my favorite but still worth trying to find something - they have a lot of cute boots currently. This store is in my top three of places i like to go to find unique pieces.
- Pros: parking, variety of clothes and salespeople
- Cons: have none yet
my favorite clothing store in Austin!

I am in love with this store. I go every two weeks, on pay day. They have adorable, good quality clothes (and shoes too, though I've never bought any shoes from here) at great prices. I'm not one of those women who can afford to spend $70 on a shirt and $150 on a pair of jeans. Most of the clothes here range from $15-30. Some of my favorite clothing pieces that I've ever purchased were from this store. The staff is okay...the men there are friendly (owners perhaps?) but there's a girl who works here who is so not helpful at all. You can't even tell that she works there, because she just stands there and doesn't take any initiative in asking anyone if they need help. You have to flag her down. She never smiles! I don't like their dressing rooms--they only have two, and they just have curtains...so anyone could just come by and open them. That makes me nervous and uncomfortable. The last time I was there, I had to try on clothes in the staff bathroom because the dressing rooms were full.
- Pros: clothes, prices, shoes, most of the staff
- Cons: dressing rooms, one staff member in particular
