BEWARE - DO NOT BUY A COMPUTER FROM DELL!!!!!. Dell has forgotten it's customers. I have owned 4 Dell computers before purchasing one last August of 2010. My computer stopped working in April 8th of this year. After spending countless hours on the phone with India tech support, a technician was sent to my home to replace the power supply. Since then, it has been running slowly. After spending close to 8 hours on the phone with an tech rep located in India, I restored the computer back to factory settings. It has since been performing even slower.

I called to ask for a replacement tower. Of course, I was speaking to a tech rep in India. This particular tech rep was extremely condesending, telling me the computer was affected by a surge, and they were not responsible for this. I informed him that I have had several Dell computers and this had never happened before. I even have the computer connected to a surge protector for this reason. He told me that didn't matter and that Dell was not responsible. I asked to speak to his supervisor, and was hung up on.

I then tried to find a phone number where I could talk to a person in the US. Several of phone numbers for Dell were not answered. I finally went through the menus to purchase a new computer, and what do you know, I got an actual person from the US.

Long story short, they wouldn't help me. They told me that it was a technical problem and to call techical support.

Dell only is interested in making sales of a poor product. They don't want to deal with you when THEIR computer breaks. Forget about customer service or standing by their product.

I WILL SPREAD THE WORD NOT TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM DELL!!!!

Dell Support. After 2hrs of speaking with people in a far away country and being disconnected way too many times I have decided to never, Never, NEVER purchase another Dell Product E V E R!

All I wanted was the keboard repaired...and it is still under warranty!

Forget it Dell...your WEB site is terrible for trying to get assistance...and you're a COMPUTER COMPANY!!!

I'll be trading this one in for a MAC!!!
