Perhaps the best BBQ in Texas. Forget about driving to Lockhart, save your money and go to Rudy's ! I just had the 1/4 pound, lean brisket for under $5. YUMMMYYY

Texas Heaven. You hear a lot about the Salt Lick and Stubb's in Austin but Rudy's is by far the best. The moist brisket is better than a rib-eye steak! The amount of spice and smoke they apply seems just right. Also, if you go you have to try the cream style corn. It's so sweet you may want to save it for dessert. My only issue is that they don't serve wheat bread. I just bring my own.
