Awesome Treat!!. I have had several breakfasts and lunches here and sampled many of the menu items. Everything that I have eaten has been fantastic! Awesome place to sit back and relax, enjoy a HEALTHY chemical free meal, cup of coffee or tea! Real food - no fillers - and reasonably priced!

Treat for all (and Gluten Free!). It's definitely not fast food, and not a good choice is you're in a rush. I often pick up my food to go, but I've never had to wait after calling maybe 15 minutes ahead to place my order. Anything on their menu can be made GF, so those of us who can't stomach gluten never have to stare longingly at menu items only to be told they can't be modified to fit our dietary needs... that's a nice feeling.

Best Lattes & Great Food!. You don't have to appreciate Organic or Gluten Free food or drinks to enjoy the great taste of what Java Dive serves. They have free wi-fi and there is plenty of room to sit and work on your laptop. The attitude is very relaxed, so you don't feel as is if you have to order something more than coffee to hang out there.

Be the way, it's located in Lakeway on RR 620, NOT east Austin as the map directions indicate.

Wonderful Waffles!. What a great surprise for my gluten free husband! Better gluten free waffles than normal regular waffles. Plus delicious coffee, fun music and great service. I had the Sunshine Panini and a black bean, egg and cheese breakfast taco. Can't wait to go back for lunch and dinner.

Excellent choice for Gluten free!!. After checking out many restaurants that cater to those of us on a gluten-free diet, I found the Java Dive Cafe. They offer sandwiches, pastries and a wide variety of drinks, all of which are delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking to eat organic, or for those of us with special dietary needs!

Best Organic Cafe in Austin and Beyond. My wife and I are quickly becoming regulars at Java Dive. For me, it's their ice coffee with coffee ice cubes...genius! For my wife, it's their muffins; which according to her is the best ever. But they have really made a fan for life today when I decided to try their waffle with blueberry topping. Honestly, it's the best waffle I have ever had in my entire life. Sorry folks, I do not have adequate command of the English language to justly describe the flavor, aroma and wow that I experienced today, eating Java Dive's waffle. You'll just have to go and find out for yourselves. Now I qualify all of this by admiting that my wife and I are "Foodies". We like high quality and high concept. That's why we feel so at home at Java Dive. If you're the Donut Hole sort, you'll probably not have the appreciation for those who strive to provide the best.

Great idea...poor execution. We have been to this place a couple of times, trying to give it another chance since it is close to the house. Each time is increasingly more disappointing. The food is pretty good, BUT over priced, then again what "organic" labeled food isn't. I can stomach the food, but what I can't fathom is the horribly slow and inconsistent service. The first time I had the waffles, and I was served FROZEN cold blueberries on top of a hot waffle. When I'm paying 2buck extra for a topping I expect it to be served properly and warm not frozen. The second time I went with my husband we ordered something really simple, he got the waffle, I got a breakfast sandwich, his came out without whipped cream (also inconsistent) and it took mine another 15minutes to come out after, the kicker..it want even busy! the breakfast sandwich lacks flavor, salt and interest. They have horrible timing when it comes to serving meals. The actual place is nice inside, I just wish they would train their employee's better. Food isn't just about taste, its about timing. I would skip this place, if you want to support your local business go to the donut hole, at least what your getting is quick, not over priced, tastey, and never disappointing.
