Elephant Moving

Whole family used them and they were always great!. These guys were great! They moved my son and daughter-in-law into their storage facility a couple of weeks ago and she said they did a great job and were very nice and professional. We decided to use them to move us to Houston and were incredibly pleased with the service they provided. The crew was friendly and helpful and their hard work made the move go very quickly even though it was such a long drive from Austin to Houston. They set up everything in our new house exactly as we asked and it all looked great. They did a nice job wrapping up all our furniture for the move, and they were even very careful with our new wood floors and covered them so they wouldn't scratch them up, which was my main worry.Two thumbs up!…

The BEST I've Seen!. I've used professional movers 3 times in the last 4 years. The crew from Elephant Moving and Storage were by far the BEST moving crew I've ever seen. If I remember correctly, the crew leader was Jose. He and the 3 other guys were awesome. They were clean, prompt, polite, and reasonably priced. Not one thing was broken or scratched during our Austin move. They wrapped and padded all our delicate furniture and bedding. They were very fast, very efficient. I was originally worried because we did not buy additional moving insurance, but that was clearly not needed. These guys know exactly what they are doing. Don't bother shopping around it will be a waste of your time. I doubt you can find better movers at any price! Highly recommended!…

TX to MD move went great!. I hired Elephant Moving to move our home to Maryland. I think they did a magnificent job with our out of state relocation. Since my company was paying for the move we had the movers pack everything as well. The company sent an estimator to do a walk through and tell us the cost beforehand. He was really nice and helpful and answered a lot of our questions when he came out. He seemed to really know his stuff and we definitely felt confident that the company could do a great job on our move. The office staff was also helpful before the move and made sure we understood the quote and the insurance and had all our questions answered so that when the movers showed up all they had to do was get to work! Jose and the rest of the guys who packed us up were hardworking and polite and did a great job packing everything with a lot of care. It took about a week for our stuff to get to our new house and the delivery crew was also very professional and did a nice job. They were great about asking where we wanted everything and set up the new place just like we asked. I was very happy with the service we received and would recommend them to anyone moving out of state.…

Will never use this company again. The men who moved my furniture from my apartment to storage ignored my requests to lay down towels and blankets (which I provided) before putting my furniture on the concrete floor. As a result, my cherry wood sleigh bed was scratched and dented all over the place. Many other pieces of furniture were scratched or dinged up, including a rip in an arm chair.

I contacted the company to file a complaint about my chair and my bed, hoping they would pay for the damage done by their movers. I didn't even get "nitpicky" wanting compensation for all the damage done - I was only worried about my bed and armchair. It took several attempts to contact them to find out how to file a claim - I was mostly ignored. According to statute, they had 90 days to either deny the claim or make an offer. Well after 90 days passed, I attempted to contact them because I had heard nothing. I tried to contact the claims department five times, and the main office four times, and never got a response. My claim was never addressed, and no offer was made.

Because of the damage to my property, their refusal to compensate for it, and the abysmal customer service, I will never use this company again, and will warn anybody who listens against using them as well. I have since filed a complaint with the Texas department of motor vehicles and have requested that they intervene as mediators in the situation.…
