We were lucky to get a spot for our 2 dogs at Happy Mailman over the holiday weekend. They worked to get our 2 dogs in for a last minute "evaluation" to make sure they liked the open play environment. Our older dog has arthritis and they even kept her with smaller and calmer dogs (and didn't forget her pain meds like the last place!) while our younger lab got to romp with the big dogs. They came home happy and tired. We scheduled baths and nail trims, too, and they were clean and trimmed nicely when we picked them up. We'll definitely be using them on our next vacation.
Pros: clean, responsible, and safe
Cons: fill up quickly for holidays

I (and my dogs) love, love, love Happy Mailman! As soon as we pull into the drive they start clamoring to get out and pull me through the office as fast as they can so they can get to their friends and start playing! They love getting to make friends and play all day long. They also love the staff. My dogs never leave without giving the staff goodbye hugs. I love that I can feel confident that they will be safe, loved, and taken care of while I am at work. I want my dogs to be socialized, but steer clear of dogparks because of all the potential risks involved. Happy Mailman provides them with the socialization they need in a controlled environment. I can breathe easy knowing that all of their playmates are vaccinated and friendly and will play in a safe way without getting out of control. Also, I was very satisfied the one time that my husband and I had to board them for a few days. I called to check on them while we were away and the staff was so accommodating and was more than happy to give me a report on how they were doing. When we came to pick them up they had been bathed and their nails had been trimmed (as we requested) and I could tell that they had had a really good time. They were happy, healthy, and tired!I will never take my dogs anywhere else! Happy Mailman is the best!
Pros: friendly, honest staff & safe, controlled environment
Cons: location a little far for me, but worth it!
