Great atmosphere and Amazing Food. This place is honestly one of Austin's hidden gems. Saying that the food is amazing is an understatement. They have the best club sandwich and salad that I have ever eaten. The service is quick and you can watch them prepare the meal right in front of you. The service is also awesome. Immediately I'm greeted by name when I walk in and everyone is so friendly. The spiral hams they sell are a great holiday treat as well. We ordered it for my Christmas party and everyone was amazed by how delicious it was. I strongly recommend this place to anyone that is dying for a great sandwich or a ham. The tomato soup is also delicious and so are their breakfast tacos.…
Editorial Review. Shopping center deli serves homemade soups, salads and sandwiches with premium meats.
Texas Honey Ham Company.
The Hambone Soup here is fabulous! Supposedly has seven varieties of beans, and I also spotted a black-eyed pea or two. The ham is shredded into the soup and is immensely flavorful. You can do
soup and half-sandwich for lunch, and they also sell this soup plus the Tomato Parmesan by the pint, quart, gallon.
Only about four tables inside, a couple more outside in good weather.
Very friendly, welcoming service.…
Great service, great sandwich. Ordered box lunches and was pleasantly surprised by what a great sandwich we got and what a fabulous value this was. Staff was super friendly and helpful both on phone and in persoon, I will definitely be back to this little gem!…
Small Town Flavor, Big City Service; Try the spiral ham once and you'll be hooked for life.. My family was gifted with a delicious spiral cut ham and baked potato casserole from Texas Honey Hams last month when my dad passed away. The sprial ham is a delicious smokey sweet manna from heaven and great served either hot or chilled, and the potato casserole is a twice baked blend with cheese, ham bits, sour cream and butter. The flavors take comfort food to the highest level. I found the shop for myself last week and the staff let us taste test the take out menu - the ham bone soup and tomato bisque were rich and hearty options for a weekday lunch or dinner, or a welcome take out gift for anyone needing recuperation. This little gem of a place is a real sparkler, and I am sharing it with everyone I know in South Austin. Great customer service and home made flavors reminded me of the best cooks I knew as a child. Totally excellent experience.…
