Great Food, Great Fun.... Chom Som rocks!

Chon Som is a great place for lunch and dinner. The staff is courteous and informative. The food is the best Thai and Sushi I've ever had!

GREAT THAI LUNCH SPOT

They offer the same great food for lunch but with a smaller portion and great add-ons like sushi on the side or eggrolls. The cuizine fills you up with weighing you down.

Not your typical Asian decor either. Walls are donned with modern art for sale while techno beats its way accross the restaurant. Austinites should feel quite at home in this place.

The "curry of the day" is awesome. Can't write enough great things about the place.

The freshly made ginger soy dressing is very refreshing during Austin's hot summers.

• Cons: closes at 2pm to prep for dinner

I have never had a bad meal here! I think the Spicy Cashew is my favorite, but I also love the Pad Thai and Pad Wonsoon. The crabcake is by far the freshest, best I've ever eaten. It's not greasy in anyway. Nice & crisp on the outside, fresh light and lfuffy on the inside.

Desserts are great, too.

The lunch and Happy Hour specials are a real bargain-I just wish I worked closer so I could go for lunch!
