Hands down the best. I've owned computers since we had to build our first one. It was tiny and we were so proud when we were able to generate prime numbers. lol

Over the past 46 years I've built my own computers, then just modified my computers and finally began having others repair/modify my computers.

Having experienced the range of computer repair services, I have to say that Computer Medic, Scott Snell, is the best computer resource I have come across.

Straight talk, reasonable rates and excellent work. I don't go anywhere else anymore.

Do yourself a favor and go to Computer Medic if you are having problems.

Oh, they take credit cards too.

Just to add to the chorus of praise for Scott Snell at Computer Medic. I had a sudden and terrifying attack of vertical green stripes on the screen of my HP laptop. I rushed it to Computer Medic without having been there before. Scott checked it out at once, said he thought he could fix it quickly, and did. He replaced the screen while I waited. He was pleasant, ultra-competent and fair in his price. I recommend him without reservation.

Best computer service provider in Austin...HANDS DOWN. Scott has repaired two computers for me, so far. I had heard about him through the grapevine, researched his company, then made the initial call. I am so happy I found him. He is so responsive, reasonably priced, and kind. He has gone above and beyond for me (even helping me set up my desk top computer at work) and I can not say enough good things about him. He also sells reliable, well priced used computers which I plan on buying so I can have a backup computer if needed. I really wanted to post a review on him to let everyone know how great he is. I have told business associates about him and have already found two friends who use him, as well. So I'm letting you guys on the internet know this is...hands down...the BEST computer service provider in Austin...in my humble and frugal opinion.

A South Austin Treasure. First, please note that I am a retired Marine colonel and a former best-selling author, of the highest ethics and integrity. And, I know Computer Medic well. For many years, he keeps my computers going.

In fact, precisely because he is such a conscientious, intelligent and engaging person and computer tech, he services the computers of some of CenTex most prominent and colorful writers

(it would be inappropriate to cite names), in their homes, in addition to thousands of “South Austinites” over the years.

Many times I have driven my computer to his shop, waited while he did his magic, then had him try to refuse to accept payment, “Nah. It wasn't a big deal.” I have seen others, while I was in his office, receive comparable generous service. On a couple of occasions, when he didn't have a part I needed, he sent me down Lamar to a competitor's, or to Fry's, with careful instructions of what to buy, how much to expect to pay.

Computers can be very frustrating. A pleasant, helpful shop is a treasure.

Top Rate Service. I have known Computer Medic for about 6 years and my husband and I use his services all the time. We have never been disappointed, even though we have had a series of problems that come with having computers. Computer Medic always goes out of his way to help us and has never taken advantage.

honest, expert, and quick service -- that's hard to beat. I brought my non-functioning computer to Computer Medic this afternoon. It wouldn't turn on. The owner of Computer Medic stopped what he was doing, opened up my computer, deftly fixed it, and closed it back up. Total time for my errand was just a few minutes. When they say same day service they mean it. It's always nice to deal with the owner of a business as they seem to care more about doing a good job. This owner was not only fast and expert. He was also nice.
