the BEST, very BEST caterer in Central Texas!. I cannot say enough good things about Pink Avocado and would give 10 stars if that were an option! I am a novice party planner but had to put together a large event with a special menu to accommodate guests with serious celiac disease. Not only did Pink Avocado not bat an eye at my request, the food was absolutely delicious, and nobody even knew that it did not contain wheat OR dairy! (We had the nopalito enchiladas which I HIGHLY recommend - delicious!) My order was a drop-off only, but when the food arrived, I was shamefully unprepared in many ways, and Pink Avocado came to the rescue, going above and beyond helping me keep the food warm til it was time to be served. (Thank you Tina!!!) Bottom line, however, was the quality and taste of the food, and it was superb! I'm getting emails from guests asking me who was the fantastic caterer - it was THAT good! This must sound like an advertisement, but I promise that it's sincere. These folks are professionals in every sense of the word. LOVE THEM! (I should also mention that they were less expensive than other caterers I looked at ... making them a standout in every way!)…
Above and Beyond!. Pink Avocado catered a wedding I was a part of. Their food was SO delicious. It was creative and beautifully presented. They went above and beyond. When we forgot table clothes she lent us some of hers. They helped time the cake cutting and had everything ready before we could think to ask. They were so professional as well as friendly. Make an appointment, try the food, hire them! They were on time, reliable and awesome.…
A New Fan of Pink Avocado.
Definitely not your standard wedding fare! This was my first experience with PA, and they were really a pleasure to work with. I lucked into using PA by booking Palm Door, where they are in-house
caterers. I would use them again when in need of a caterer, and certainly would recommend them.
Trying to coordinate a menu with a couple in Chicago and me as an intermediary was no easy feat, but PA was always willing to work with us. The couple made a general request for an all vegetarian buffet, and to see some options prepared with tofu or other meat-substitute (these were not on the standard menu that is shared initially). We received a very thoughtful and creative first stab at a menu - I think we only ended up swapping out 2 items.
The bar preparations were equally flexible and responsive to the couple's desires. Their requests for specific wines and local beer were met, and with either minimal or no additional cost. I was able to add a few items at the last minute without problem, and was more than please to learn that cake service was already included.
On the wedding day, the presentation was beautiful and the food delicious. I heard nothing but compliments all night! The butternut squash bisque shooters and and vegan samosas were especially popular. My only real issue was in regard to the staff: I witnessed a few guests having to wait unnecessarily because of a distracted bartender, and the cake service just seemed a bit disorganized and, well, messy. Regardless, the guests did get their cake! At the end of the evening, PA and Palm Door boxed up the leftover food and cake to send home with us - what a blessing the next day!…
Look No Further For Your Wedding Caterer. A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ We cannot sing the praises of PAC enough! They gave us a great deal, created amazing dishes, and provided phenomenal service. One of our big goals for the wedding was to have memorable wedding food, and PAC went above and beyond that goal. We got more compliments on the food than anything else, and we're still always wishing we had some of our wedding buffet. People loved our Turkey Meatloaf "Cupcakes" with Sweet Potato "Frosting"!! Brent and his staff took great direction and were quick to help with anything. Most of the food was locally sourced and/or organic.Not to mention they left our venue ( a family home) cleaner than they found it! We got great feedback on their eagerness and friendliness, as well, and cannot recommend them enough.…

Pink Avocado catered our wedding about a month ago.
The owner Brenton Schumacher is probably the nicest guy you'll meet. From the beginning he was warm, friendly and up-beat. We told him our budget and our tastes and he came up with a tailored, creative menu.
Brent was willing to work within our budget at the bar too. Letting us choose our beer selection and recommending some great local wine which we were able to try beforehand.
Even at the tasting, before the wedding, Brent and his staff went out of their way to create a beautiful presentation and took our feedback seriously, happily rearranging flavors according to our specific tastes.
I was glad to find that it is important to PA to use local, organic ingredients when available.
90% of the food was vegetarian and because it was so delicious and beautifully presented, our midwestern families were not turned off. It was the opposite, in fact. People were going out of their way to mention how great the food was and thanking us for having something other than the usual, 'check one: chicken or beef.'
When planning a wedding you can start to feel nickeled-and-dimed by vendors who add a fee for cake-cutting, dish usage or hourly staffing. It was a breeze to work with PA because everything except tax and tip was included. In fact, along the way, Brent would add items to the bar or menu with our approval but without charging us more, all for that first price we quoted him. This saved us a lot of money and confusion.
At the end of the night our guests were so impressed that they were encouraged to box-up and take away the leftovers. The wonderful PA team even made a few boxes just for my bride and I along with well wishes scribed onto the box.
Overall, they were friendly, helpful, professional, creative, worked well within our budget and most importantly, the food was incredibly delicious.…
