I can believe Insurances Companies pay that much money on repairs to shops like this one, for sure that's another reason we pay a lot of money on Insurance... Just because is close to my house I went to this body shop at Lakeway to get an estimate to repair my little neon needing just to paint my hood and bumper and fix two or three smalls details, but "Surprise" the estimate was THIRTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS... just for putting a little bondo and paint hood and bumper and some polish can be that much. How can people talk good things about these place? Do they really know the prices for repairs. I feel so Stupid just for going to ask for an estimate. The Good... I won't spend my money with Whitakers Body Shop.

I am only writing this review in the hopes that no one will ever be as taken advntage by this company as I was. My horror story is this. A construction company accidentally poured cement onto my car so I went to Whitakes to get my paint repaired. They promised me it would only take 6-7 days, but 4 WEEKS later and with $1,607 worth of rental car bills later they tried to hand me back my car looking worst than it did with the concrete. First, they did not paint the entire car like they had said they were going to do and THEY HAD CHARGED ME TO DO. So there was still concrete on place like my mirrors and fenders that they made me scratch off with my finger nail. Not only that they tried to give me false charges for replacement parts, I remind you this was a paint job nothing needed to be replaced. After the bill got settled and they refunded me for their "mistaken" charges I finally saw my paint job. It was HORRIBLE! They did not do the proper prep work and instead of sanding down the car before painting it, they just painted over every scratch and bump so my paint has little dents in it EVERYWHERE. Overall, the final bill was $3,257.92 for the most horrific paint job. Please, learn from my mistake and never go here, and if you are currently getting work done here make sure to look over your invoice when it is done, because this company wants to get you for every dime and cent they can get from cutting corners and charging for work they did not do.
