WOW :). We are new to the area and in looking for a pediatrician for my twin ADHD boys I came across Cedar Park Pediatrics. The whole staff from the front to the back are sooo nice. That is hard to find in any dr's office. We just resently relocated to Texas and our insurance was in transition. I let the front desk girl know this and she went and got the office manager.Who after I explained everything said no worries we will figure that out latter lets take care of the boys!!!!! I have never had someone so nice and care so much about children. I then met Dr.Joe wow he took the time to fully explaine things to us the parent but also spent time just talking to my boys and getting their take on things. I am so glad we came here. LOVE LOVE LOVE this ofice!!!!

Best doctor in the city!. OK, I'm picky. I went through 2 other pediatricians before I found Dr. Cohen. At that time, my 2 year old daughter had such severe asthma that she had to be hospitalized multiple times and was deemed "too sick for daycare." Her last doctor said he had "tried everything" and that this was a battle she would just have to live with. At that point I had a little girl who was VERY sick everyday, a 3 year old boy, and no childcare.

I honestly switched to Dr. Cohen just because my husband or I could walk to his office. I figured this was as good as it gets and we would need to get to care frequently. With one car, one of us could work and the other could take our daughter in. Then, we got the unexpected.

Not only was Dr. Cohen shocked that my child was left in the condition that she was in, but he told me they could treat her. Willing to try anything, I signed on with little hope. I am happy to say that he did what 2 pediatricians and countless other ER doctors could not. Plainly put, he "fixed" her.

Now, at age 6, she has easily managed asthma and is doing great all thanks to Dr. Cohen's carefully individualized plan. In addition, I have an 8 year old son with a mess of allergies and a 9 month old boy who seems to be following the same pattern as his brother. Both boys are more than well cared for.

Overall, Dr. Cohen is a miracle worker. His staff is helpful and friendly, there is almost never a wait, and I feel like all of my concerns are listened to and taken seriously. My family is so blessed to have found such a talented and attentive pediatric office to grow up with.

NOT supportive of breastfeeding / rude staff. Argh, what an awful experience! Dr. Cohen was recommended and, being new to town, I took my baby there for his two-month check up. What a mistake. Being new parents and because our son was in NICU when he was born we had several questions we had written down for our first visit. Dr. Cohen breezed over all of our questions, not giving depth to any of his answers and dismissed most as “nothing to worry about”. He casually threw out that our son would “just go see a specialist when he was older” for his penile adhesion rather than giving us proactive things we could do now to help prevent adhesions. He apologized twice for being so rushed saying he “must have had too much coffee this morning” and yet continued the exam at record pace to get us out the door. Once he weighed our son and saw that he had corrected himself from his 99th percentile birth weight, he promptly concluded that I wasn’t making enough milk and loaded us down with three cans of formula over my strenuous objections. For those mothers who breastfeed, you know how hard those first few months can be and to have someone literally shoving formula into your hands as “the only solution” for taking care of your baby is disappointing to say the least. Thankfully, I called La Leche League and they suggested I meet with a lactation consultant at a nearby hospital. I did and it was *awesome*. No more tears and I left that meeting with a breast pump rental and a well thought out plan for the next month to ensure that our baby was getting enough to eat and I could continue to breastfeed.

Although I had been utterly disappointed by my first visit to Dr. Cohen, I made a follow-up visit with him thinking that I may have just caught him on a bad day. If possible, the second visit was even worse. First of all, I didn’t even SEE Dr. Cohen on my second visit. Margarita hadn't properly recorded my appointment so we waited an hour to be seen by an incompetent nurse pratitioner.

It's impossible to get a phone call back from anyone in this office (seriously, it took me four attempts to get an answer to a relatively simple question). I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. Very disappointing.

I WON'T TAKE MY KIDS ANYWHERE ELSE! THIS OFFICE IS THE BEST!. Dr. Joe and Ms. Tiffani, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, are awesome. We've been taking our kids there since we moved to the area 4 years ago. When we decided to become foster parents a year ago, we were bummed that their office did not accept Medicaid (I haven't found a pediatrician that does). They had been fighting the system to become Medicaid providers for a while. They have jumped through all the hoops and filled out the stacks of forms that were necessary and now take Medicaid! The fact that they cared enough to spend that much time and energy to accept Medicaid speak volumes. Now our foster kids get the same great care that our bio kids have been getting for years. In a month, Dr. Joe and Ms. Tiffani have helped our 15-month-old foster son deal with his asthma, allergies, ear infections, etc, more than Scott & White did in the previous 5 months.I wouldn't trust anyone else with my kids (biological or foster). We are especially thrilled now that they take Medicaid. They truly care about each of the kids they see. I've never met an unhappy patient of theirs, only raving reviews from other parents who take their kids there. My wife is a school nurse and recommends this office to her families. For anyone looking for an awesome pediatrician, you've found the right place.

A Loving & Caring Mommy. I switched to Dr Cohen last month after have 3 really bad problems at my previous doctor.

The front staff is great. The woman I spoke with was on the phone with my for a while & went over everything, answered all my questions & made me feel like I was their most important client. I sent my friend there & she got the same treatment :) it is so nice!!!

I have 2 preemies & had several care givers in the NICU's so I know what I like. Dr Cohen goes over EVERYTHING & explains what he is doing & why. He addressed my concerns & didn't just say "no big deal" like I had heard before. Instead he set a "game plan" that we are following.

I really feel like my boys are in good hands.

Thank you - Dr. Cohen :)
