Great Sushi! As good as it gets. My wife and I love this place!! Absolutely great, right up there with Uchi and Mushishino. I read the review written by superfoodcritic and all I can say is I know this guy. He has issues because he is an alcoholic and gets thrown out of everywhere he goes! Check out his stupid reviews of other great restaurants, he hates everything because he is sexually frustrated.

Best Sushi Experience!. My friend and I decided to try out a new sushi place out and discovered Midori. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by their friendly staff. We asked our waitress what the most popular rolls were and she pointed out the *Marilyn Monroe* roll. It was very tasty and I also highly recommend the *Mango Fandango* roll. The food and presentation of the rolls were phenomenal! The restaurant itself has a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Our waitress gave us superb customer service which is a big deal to me. I will def. be coming back to Midori!

Best Sushi in Austin. My husband and I have been to almost ever sushi place in town and this is by far the best. The outside is very deceiving but as soon as you walk through the doors you are treated to a truly unique experience. This is now our favorite sushi place and we will continue to return.

Best Sushi. I keep going back for some of the best sushi in Austin, TX. I love the ambiance of the restaurant, the owner really should do interior design on the side. And the sushi is spot-on excellent. Try the sweet shrimp with deep fried head and the Mackerel. They also have traditional Korean dishes.

This place is worth the visit.

Best Sushi EVER. I've eaten at many sushi restaurants in Austin, the US, as well as internationally and I have to say that Midori serves the best sushi I've ever eaten. The quality of the fish is impeccable and the service is fabulous. I love this place!

Bad Bad Service and Food. I have eaten at this place several times in the past and I always questioned the service. Sometimes I order Ton Katsu or Tempura. I ordered sushi the last time and was not impressed, but the worst experience was tonight. I ordered beef teriyaki and my friend ordered chicken teriyaki. This was the most disgusting thing that has ever touched my lips. The meat wasn't marinated and it was tough. I asked the owner how many people had tried to chew on it before it was served to me because neither of us ate our food and they had the audacity to charge us. Needless to say, I will not be returning and I hope to prevent anyone who reads this from experiencing the same misfortune. I also witnessed them cleaning a table with the same rags they use to wipe the chairs and the floor.

LOVE THIS SUSHI!. It all started with the Lunch special and then went downhill for me, now I eat here several times a month and am constantly recruiting new Midorians! I love it for lunch, dinner and to go. There food is consistently delicious, creative and fresh...I also love the Marilyn Monroe Roll and one that isn't on the menu but came highly recomended by the owner call the "Big Fire" roll. If you are a roll fanatic, a sashimi king or even love korean and japanese barbeque, this is the resturant for you. You will not be let down by their portions or their prices and the ambience is very condusive to a hihgly enjoyable experience. The waitresses are in Kimonos and I love that! YUMMY!

Great lunch specials on weekdays. Excellent sushi. Well priced. They have great lunch specials until 3pm on the weekdays. Great service, great atmosphere. The waitstaff is very friendly and helpful, especially if you're not too familiar with sushi; they will take the time to educate you and give recommendations.

Sushi is mouthwatering! Great decor and service too!. WOW The sushi here is EXCELLENT! When I first got to the restaurant, I saw the outside and I thought it wouldn't be good but like they say, "don't judge a book by its cover" and I'm glad I didn't! When I stepped in I was surprised by the lovely Japanese decor and environment. I was even more pleasantly surprised by the appetizers and how good the rolls and sashimi were! I especially liked the Marilyn Monroe roll and the Cool River (I think that was the name of it..) roll. Mmm Mmm! I loved this place and I will definitely be going back!
