New Local Jewler feels like an Old Friend. When my old Westlake jewler went out of business, I was in need of a reliable jeweler to maintain my nice swiss-made watches and wedding ring. Not only have they had timely turnaround on my existing pieces, but I've also bought two new watches from them and have been very pleased with their warranty work. Unlike a big store sale, they stand behind their pieces when something goes wrong! Always friendly service, even when you are'nt buying. Superb Customer Service. When I moved to Austin 2 years ago I was nervous about finding a new jeweler since I have found many to be pushy and a bit snooty in the past. I was not in the market for jewelry at the time, but for jewelry and watch repair. Once I walked into Duncan and Boyd I knew I had found the right place for me. Not only are the staff super helpful and friendly, but I never felt pushed or pressured to make a purchase. I have always felt that they have given me the same amount of attention and help as anyone else in there making a big purchase. Amazingly Helpful & Fantastic Jewler. I had looked at several places in Austin when looking for my engagement ring. My fiancee fell in love with a particular line of bridal jewelery that would only work with a different jeweler so I was forced to go through them even though I had a much, much better experience with Duncan & Boyd. They were not pushy and offered a great deal of information and help without seeming dead set on making a sale.

The jeweler I went through declared bankruptcy one week before I was suppose to be shipped the ring. In a panic, I contacted Duncan & Boyd, and they physically picked up the diamond I bought at a different jeweler, contacted the company making my ring, and saw that everything would arrive on time. I would not be currently engaged if it were not for the fine people at Duncan & Boyd. They went beyond what was necessary and I didn't even originally go through them to purchase my ring. I would not even think twice if someone asked where to look for engagement rings.
