The service and attention to detail was impeccable.. Smarter Homes of Austin set up our entire entertainment system at the Rocky Creek amenity center. Their team was extremely knowledgeable and efficient.

They educated us on the system and even donated amazing door prizes and great gift bags for our residents at the pool opening. The service and attention to detail was impeccable. We would definitely recommend Smarter Homes of Austin to anyone. They were extremely helpful, professional, and all around great to work with.

These are the people you want for your project.. I was wanting to purchase a large screen TV (65 inch plus), Blu-ray player, surround sound system, etc. I started out talking to companies I found in the phone book, some big box names, and on-line. It didn't take me long to figure out that I didn't even know what questions to ask. And the sales people only wanted to sell me what they happen to have on hand. I then realized that what I needed was more of a "consultant" than a "salesperson." When I first talked with Peter Sandford at Advanced AV Solutions, it was readily apparent that he was a wealth of audiovisual knowledge and was willing to spend the time to help me understand the pros and cons of the various equipment alternatives. He was able to "translate" technical specifications into a list of benefits and costs that had meaning to me. Thanks to Peter's knowledge and understanding of my needs, I was able to purchase an optimum suite of TV/stereo equipment while saving hundreds of dollars in the process. Peter exceeded all my expectations and I would recommend him and his staff anytime for any audiovisual challenge one might have. These are the people you want for your project. Five (5) stars!

Be Careful dealing with AVS. Be very careful when dealing with this company! The work I contracted was for the installation of 8 new CCTV cameras. AAVS told me that they require all cameras to be paid for up front but if they do not work or I am not happy with them, they will give a full refund. The labor is paid for once the job is complete. I was mislead and told that two existing cameras I already had were bad and also needed to be replaced. They replaced one but before they replaced the second I determined the camera lenses were dirty and both cameras were in fact still good. They eventually switched the cameras back out but kept my money and refuse to refund me the cost of the cameras or the labor to change it out. A gate camera was installed that did not work. After I complained, once again they took the camera but refuse to refund me my money. 2 of the remaining 5 cameras left still do not operate (no picture at all). They promised to make the repairs and they scheduled several (5 or 6) appointments with me, but did not show up for any of them. I had to drive from Houston to Austin to make each appointment, costing me considerable time and money. To make matters worse, they charged my credit card on three separate occasions without my authorization or knowledge. Unbeknownst to me, they had my credit card number from a job that was done over a year ago.

Advanced A/V did an outstanding job installing, including rewiring the house to mount it above my fireplace, my new HD LG LED TV! For someone who didn't know anything about this sort of thing, they took excellent care of me from start to finish. THESE are the guys you must have on your job. I never get customer service like this. Jeff, Wes, Doug: these are the people you want on your job. There was a problem with my tv when they got it out of the box and plugged in, screen was cracked. They TOOK me and the tv back to the place I purchased it and helped me return it and get a replacement. Doug stayed with me the whole time, and thank God for that. The place I got it from gave me a very hard time returning it, and if it had not been for Doug, I may not have had a new TV tonight. These people went above and beyond their call of duty. I will tell everyone I know about this business. You are in very good hands if you have these folks do your job. OUTSTANDING.

Extremely Satisfied. I had talked to a few companies in Austin to advise me on the current technologies for designing and building out an integrated, multi-room audio/video solution. Pete went out of his way to personally walk the house and discuss all follow on questions and ideas as the concept evolved. Pete and his company were extremely knowledgeable in integrating all of my ideas with the right solutions and the installation was executed flawlessly.

Advanced A/V has provided follow on services and the customer focus is second to none. I have plans for adding to the system and integrating more automation technology into my home and will be using Pete to carry out the next phase.

Knowledgeable and Service Oriented. Pete, the owner, was able to make suggestions over the phone of products appropriate for my spatial constraints. After making some intial selections, he was able to further refine my choices after visiting my home. I am very happy with the products that we chose and how clean my equipment looks after the installation. I have a pretty busy work schedule, but Pete's crew was able to execute with only initial direction from me. This freed me up to get my work done without having to worry.

Wonderful Customer Service. I contactd Advanced AV to ask a question. I am a do-it-yourselfer and had a simple question. I called and Peter the CEO answered the call. I made it clear that I was not a a paying customer. In spite of that fact, Peter took the time to answer more than the simple question about speaker wire that I asked. Peter was very helpful , knowledegable, professional and courteous...especially for someone that knew he was not going to profit from the advice he was giving. What a pleasant experience!

Awesome installation and service.. It was awesome being able to work with the owner of the company, Peter. Figuring out what products would work for me was an extremely easy process thanks to Peter. I had no clue about these products, I only knew what I hoped the project would sound like. Expectations were exceeded and I love the set up installed by Advanced A/V Solutions. They stand behind their work and products. The owner, Peter, has actually made personal trips out to my location to inspect the work and even gave me a tutorial on how to better use my set up. Would use them again and recommend them to everyone.

SImply the best!. When we started searching greater Austin for a company to install an audio system in our locker room, Advanced A/V Solutions came to the front of the line. Pete and his crew did a great job in determining our needs and also fitting it into our budget. The service was quick and they were able to work around our schedule to get it installed. The kids love it. Thanks for a job well done.
