Great individualized training. This is a great Pilates studio with wonderful teachers. They listen to your desires and to your medical concerns (if any), and then tailor the Pilates instruction accordingly. I've been taking Pilates here for over 6 months now, and I have nothing but high praise for them. My teacher is Julie (who is also the owner), and she is AWESOME! The studio is clean and calm, and everyone there (both teachers and clients) seems to really enjoy being there. My results have been good, too! An A+ for this studio.

Best place in Austin to take pilates!!! privates and groups!. I have taken group and private classes here for a year and a half and i love it! All the teachers are great with loads of experience. I highly recommend Westlake Pilates to anyone. They also host a BASI certification course twice a year for those who are looking to expand their pilates practice or get certified to teach pilates. This is a great place!

The Best. I love Julie and this studio. The staff (especially Stefani) are professional, yet so friendly and personal. The facilities are state of the art and super clean.

Julie trains to each individual's needs. I have been going twice a week with 2 other ladies for almost a year and no longer have back problems, have seen a huge change in my body and feel more confident. Because of Julie's individual attention to me and because of her really caring about my well being, I will never go anywhere else.

The BEST Pilates in town. The owner and staff are just amazing. I get the best workout every session. I would recommend this studio above any other in Austin (I've tried them all!).

The place to be..... I had never tried Pilates and was wary. I didn't want the whole "gym bunny" scene. I spoke with Stephanie and she convinced me to come in. Julie was great and got me hooked. I've since changed to Adrianne due to scheduling and she's awesome too! People are doing serious workouts but in a comfortable, supportive and encouraging environment. I've taken a class with very advanced people and didn't feel inadequate, even though it was my first. If you are new to Pilates or are a veteran....you will love this place.

5 Stars-Westlake Pilates. This is the first time I have ever rated any business. Westlake Pilates is fantastic. My Pilates instructor moved to LA and I was devasted. I had one session at a well know Pilates studio. It was like I was doing Pilates with a judgemental task master. The experience left me in tears. I drove around Austin going into different Pilates studios. I walked into Westlake Pilates and spoke to Julie Strycker, the owner. I told her that she would probably think I was weird but I wanted a studio with great energy. I also wanted someone to respect what I had been doing for a year. JULIE IS AMAZING!!! She sat with me, connected, listened, and asked me to show her what I had been doing. She did not judge my "Pilates" but used what I learned to take off from there.

The energy of this studio is fantastic. It does not have any "katty" behavior or tension. Julie is caring, committed person to each individual client. She also is building a team of instructors that have the same qualities. And, the studio is beautiful.

Professional atmosphere, aesthetically pleasing, thoroughly equipped. As an older and somewhat experienced member of the fitness industry in Austin I feel I am in a position to say that I believe Westlake Pilates is destined to become the premier pilates studio in Central Texas. Over the years I have had several pilates instructors. Julie Strycker has been my instructor for two years and has been able to help me advance in spite of a chronic spinal condition. She is highly qualified, experienced and continues to enhance her skills at every opportunity. I trust Julie and believe in what she is trying to accomplish with her studio.

Perfect environment for self-improvement!!. ... feels like a vacation walking into this studio. There is definitely an attention to detail, and you feel at home immediately. I've been to most of the studios in Austin and nothing compares, either in environment or service. I love Davenport Village so the location is perfect. Julie is a delight to work with!! I would recommend this studio to anyone, whether you're just starting Pilates or practice it 3 times a week. : )
