Awesome Salon. The greatest thing about this salon is the location and huge discount for UT students (25%). It is a short walk from the campus in a cute little house. I highly recommend this salon for any student. She also gives referral services like free haircuts, so say Samantha sent you when you go in so she knows I tell everyone how awesome she is.

Jennifer saved my hair. Jennifer saved me from the most horrible hair disaster that I have ever had. When I first moved to Austin I made the mistake of going to the first salon nearby. I would expect that spending over $100 for color means my hair wont end up leopard print and fried, but in Austin just about anyone can get a beauty license.

She spent four hours correcting the horrible color job that the other girl completely butchered and even gave me wine to calm my nerves. By the time I left my hair did not look fried at all and it blended into the beachy blond she promised.

My only complaint would have been the lack of parking, but she is totally worth walking a block if the lot is full. Thank you Jennifer Dandy, I will be returning and referring my friends!

Jenns the best. I have gone to jennifer for over 3 years and there is never a dull moment. she does a good job and is worth the distance.

wonderful. This salon is so wonderful. I was referred by a friend who just raved about her stylist. I got the most adorable haircut. I didn't need my hair colored at the time, but I saw the most beautiful color leaving so I will be getting my hair colored the next time that I go. If you want beautiful hair Adara is the place to go!

Your new hair girl is at Adara!. Finding the right stylist in Austin is hard. Being a "blonde" you need someone who can really understand your color, and how to make it shine and look natural. Jill Ramirez has accomplished this for me time and time again, for over 6 years. I have followed her everywhere she has worked and truly think that the salon that she and Rebecca have established hits the spot. Adara is in a great area, so close to downtown and the UT campus. They have a lot of clientel ranging from young twenty-somethings to baby boomers, and are able to fit your fun personality. Your new hair girl is at Adara!

Best salon for precision cut and style. Best kept secret in Austin! I've visited all of the top salons in Austin and paid $200-$325 for cut/highlighting and this salon delivers a better cut and at very reasonable fees. Jill Ramirez is fantastic! Best precision cut and style no matter what your hair - straight or curly! Extremely convenient to downtown, just off 15th Street on Nueces. On-site paid parking available (rare for downtown Austin!). You won't be disappointed!
