In Short – Hipsters on the prowl take to this bi-level bar for its airiness and urban appeal. The first floor, anchored by a broad circular bar, houses a well-lit pool table, small covered patio and intimate seating. On nice evenings, most patrons flock to the rooftop bar, with its Zen-like luscious foliage, bamboo partitions and pillow-strewn benches. The drink menu includes the usual fare, as well as six variations of mojitos and more unusual cocktails like the Godiva-laced S'mores martini.

Boom Boom Room!

I've been to this bar many times and it's never failed to provide an excellent time. They have fun music, and I've only recently discovered the "Boom Boom Room" in the back for great dancing. It's crowded, but full of good-looking people (albeit some are the yuppie-type). As far as the people who have had problems with their credit cards here, I personally never use a credit card at any bar. I only use cash for several reasons: A) I don't trust myself with one when I've been drinking (I tip too much or forget my card at the bar), B) I don't trust others with my card (especially when they know I've been drinking--easier to take advantage), and C)Having a set budget keeps me from drinking too much.
- Pros: great music, attractive people, great dancing

I went to Union Park last week and opened a tab. When I went to close out my tab, they could not find it. After sending me up to one of their upstairs bars, they still could not locate the tab. They responded with a shrug and "I don't know what happened to your card." Of course I was angry, so I kept pressing - then they came back and said that my tab had already been closed out by someone else - implying that they had given my card to the wrong person. I checked my bank account later that night and sure enough, there was the charge. Canceled my card and will never return to this sh*thole again.

- Cons: terrible customer service, terrible service period

Good Spot but it's getting too crowded.... Owner is a tool.

This place is pretty cool. the boom boom room is a joke. The owner is this short stocky guy with a bad attitude and if you need to call the place to get help or if you lost something... forget it. What makes this place great is some of the best bartenders I have ever had. Very nice, Very fun, super drinks. The place is a good one and the food is really good. But... Stay away from the upper deck... far too crowded. Oh... and did I mention. The owner is a complete JackA**.
- Pros: Great Food, Great Bartenders
- Cons: Some nights it's just too crowded. Bamboo Bar top is always sticky.
