What Our Expert Scouts Say

Juiceland
April 24, 2013

The new and improved Daily Juice (now Juiceland) is better than ever! All the best fresh juice and smoothie options keep me coming back. The Vegetable Kingdom smoothie is one of the best and classic options for a wholesome beverage.

JuiceLand loves their durian, a fabled (albiet very, very smelly) aphrodisiac. Banned in some parts of southeast Asia, durian fruit is totally legal here, and makes its way into several sexy JuiceLand smoothies. Maybe this is why Austin always ends up on those "Best Cities for Singles" lists?

Swim a couple laps at Barton Springs and treat yourself to a smoothie afterwards. Don't be afraid of the durian in the Kaleibrator smoothie- it's the best.

A funky South Austin favorite keeps loyal patrons healthy with organic juices and smoothies.. In Short
Housed in a diminutive stone hut near Zilker Park, Daily Juice has an old-Austin vibe and a wide selection of mostly organic juices, smoothies and refreshing froths (juice blended with frozen fruit). Health-conscious regulars might opt to customize their own concoction or choose a menu favorite. The Fire Hydrant juice has a reddish hue and a zing derived from fresh jalapeno, while the Berried Alive smoothie mixes four kinds of berries with apple juice.

Unique and outstanding quality. Very weird place with the best menu of the likes i've seen in any city. The parking was a nightmare but once you get in there is like unending options for juice combinations. I had a coconut and then a smoothie that cost 8$, worth every cent because it had so many natural ingredients and healthy add ins. They also sell the gallon mix of Master Cleanse and three people ordered it while I was there. The staff seems to be in their own little world but definitely well informed and educated about the menu. Oh, also-raw chocolate truffle case would drive a few of my friends in SF crazy I'm sure. really glad this place is in Austin, nothing else like it.
