Lurking Waitstaff. On my first visit to First Chinese Barbecue the food and conversation was overshadowed by an aggressive waitstaff. With our menus still open and a friend and I clearly still reviewing the selection, someone was constantly asking if we were ready to order. Between the overly frequent trips, someone always stood too close to the table, waiting, watching, lurking, seemingly rushing people out the door. Salt and Pepper Cripsy Shrimp - - Amazing!.
Been twice now - each time its been a food celebration. The crispy shrimp without shells has me dreaming about the next time I get to go.
Plus my family loved it - the portions are huge, the rice is nice and sticky and BBQ pork is yummy.
Highly recommend…
Life changing experience. I want to eat here every meal for the rest of my life. The roast duck was perfect. We had a stir fried vegetable plate that was to die for. Best. Food. Ever.

We went in as a party of 8 and put our name on a waiting list only to be pasted up several times until they forgot about our party. Their hostee, if they knew what one was, was also waiting tables
and busing tables. Last Chinese Barbecue is so unorganized at seating customers properly that the cashier had to ask a busboy for help only to have him seat the party behind us. After complaining to the manager, the only thing she could say and probably knows was "table soon".
NOTE TO LAST CHINESE BARBECUE: HIRE A HOSTEE TO HOST AND SEAT CUSTOMERS AS THEY COME IN OR AT LEASE TRY TOO AND GET RID OF THAT STUPID SIGN UP LIST.…
