In Short – Walls lined with bottles to purchase, a long wine bar and small black bistro tables create an intimate setting. Weekly changing menus of reds or whites by the glass or bottle are complemented by an internationally inspired tasting menu with nibbles such as pate or cheese boards and sandwiches and pasta for those seeking heartier fare. The free Saturday afternoon wine tastings guide novices and those looking for something new through an eclectic ensemble of domestic and international bottles.
Great service, great prices

I enjoy going to Vinosity for their free wine tastings on Saturdays from 3-5. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and their wines by the glass are very affordable. I've very rarely had a glass there that I didn't enjoy.

My husband and I really love this place. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, but still hip as a wine bar should be. We always start with a flight, which has four varieties of either red or white (wine flights change weekly). They are really reasonable at around $9 for four healthy pours and the wines are interesting and out-of-the-ordinary. They also have a chef in-house who creates really delicious inspired dishes for the menu that also changes weekly. It's great to go to a place where the menu is always changing!
The staff is friendly, they know a ton about wine and make great suggestions without being the slightest bit overbearing or pushy. And the best part, you can take home your favorite wine at the end of the night or pop in to grab a bottle before a party anytime. I highly suggest this place! They also host parties, if you're looking for an event space.
- Pros: great wines, food, service, free covered parking in garage

Tired of picking bottles by the quality of the label? Tired of eating the same thing every time you go to your favorite restaurant? Try Vinosity, a great little wine bar / wine shop in west Austin, near MoPac and 35th with wine tastings, wine flights, and a fun menu for dinner or appetizers.
I am not an expert on wine, but I do not what I like once I've drunk it. Vinosity, unlike some places doesn't look down at you for not knowing which years were good and which were not.
Vinosity's concept is simple. It is a great wine store, with fabulous selections at reasonable prices. They have combined this with a wine bar and a kitchen. The wine bar has a menu of selected wines and flights that changes weekly, allowing you to discover something new every time you visit. The kitchen operates the same way; the small but varied menu also changes weekly. There "structure" is always the same, i.e there is a appetizer, salad, a vegetable, a chicken and some fish or red meat, and a desert. If you just want to nosh, they have great wine and bread boards. The downside of the changing menu is that if you like something, you like something it won't be there next time; the upside is that you can discover something new on your next trip.
Vinosity does win tastings on Saturday's. I have never attended, but have heard great things from those that have.
- Pros: Wine flights, featured wine, friendly service, location and parking
- Cons: what you like might not be on the menu next time, service can be slow if you are not at the bar
