RUDE MANAGEMENT. Humiliating experience! I recently moved here from Kansas and have a temporary DL. I ordered a drink and the waiter apologized and said that he had to take my license to his manager since it was paper. When the manager came back he threw my license back at me and loudly exclaimed that he could not take it! Baffled, I tried to show him my old KS license and he laughed. The waiter was very embarrassed and apologized over and over and explained that they were under new management. We gave the poor guy a tip and left without ordering. I was completely embarrassed since I had the whole restaurant looking at me and assuming I was trying to pass a fake ID. I would not have minded not getting a drink if the manager had handled the situation in a discreet way, but that was ridiculous. If they have problem with temporary issued ID's, they need to take it up with the state, not make a scene in front of the customer.
