NOT FOR KID!!!.
I ordered beef noodle soup for adults (well done) and from children menu also a beef noodle soup. A kid's beef noodle soup came out with RAW beef and 1/3 the size of the regular adult bowl for $4.50!!! I asked the waitress to exchange the RAW meat for the cook one. She did exchange the soup but then standing in front of 5yrs old child and chewed me out for not telling her that I want the cook meat when ordering for my child. First, there's no where on the child menu indicating that it is serving RAW meat in Vietnamese or English!!! And who ever heard of serving children RAW meat!! She won't leave my table until I finally told her to please move on so we can eat! The child menu costs way more than just a Happy Meal. You don't get a drink or desert at that at Pho Saigon but a lot of attitudes from the waiting staffs and management. No kidding. Spoil my appetite. Would never return.

NOPE!.
don't do it, this place is terrible!! we stopped in for the vietnamese iced coffee - which was great, and decided to stay for the food. BAD idea!! i didn't know vietnamese could be so bad!! it seems fairly simple to make - my italian husband makes great bunh. but this place was not good. the spring rolls were basically noodles and iceberg lettuce. and the bunh was basically the same with added fish sauce. the service was terrible. i don't think anyone working there is over 16.
don't do it!!!!! go to sunflower instead.

Watch out for string in your pho.
I ordered a large chicken pho. As I was eating it, I chewed on a piece of string 3-4 inches long. I almost swallowed it. The restaurant did comp me for my soup. But I am not going back again.

Best pho restaurant in Austin.
This is my absolute favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Austin. Every dish I've tried has been significantly better than any other Vietnames restaurant in town. The broth in all of the noodle soups is tasty and hot. The noodles are fresh. Each dish is served with an ample amount of fresh veggies and herbs. The staff are friendly, and the seating is prompt. Sometimes the place gets really busy during lunch, but that doesn't prevent the kitchen from turning out the food quickly without sacrificing quality.
