Great Place for Dining and Mediterranean Groceries.
As my family is Middle Eastern, I missed the comforts of the food I used to get back home. I'm really thrilled to have found a place with good food. I always go to pick up some Lebneh!
The people who work there/own the place are really friendly, especially the older (short) woman. There's just something about her that's very approachable and endearing. An older man who works there has a great sense of humor and always cracks jokes while I'm checking out.
Only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was that I was a little taken aback when I last ordered Tabouli. On the menu it said $6.99/lb or $3.99 for a dish. When I asked for some, she just said "small, medium, or large?" I ordered large, thinking that would be the $6.99 like the menu said, but much to my surprise it came out to almost $13. I didn't want to be rude so I went ahead and bought it, but next time I'll be sure to order it by the pound and not by the size!
That aside, I would definitely recommend this place for a bite to eat!

Excellent FALAFEL.
The FALAFEL sandwich is huge and delicious, and far better than any falafel in town. Prices are also very reasonable. Don´t try their grape leaves.

Great Middle Eastern/Mediterranian food!.
I visited Sarah's after reading a review in the Chronicle about this cute little Mediterranian grocery and deli. I'm a fiend for that genre of food, and so was excited to try it. Perfectly sized portions accompanied with delicious hummos, rice, a green salad, and pita were included in the plate lunch. It was very well done and the meat was tender. They have vegitarian options available as well. The only thing they need to get better on doing is clearing and wiping tables. There are only about 8 or so available, which need to be attended to when the place gets busy.
