Smoke 'n O's has RELOCATED. Smoke 'n O's has relocated to 2908 San Gabriel St. near the corner of 29th and Lamar. It's a larger, newly renovated building with outdoor seating for 60+. Free wireless. Expanded drink selection. Expanded hours and live music coming soon (noon-2am). Same great style, music, and hookahs that the original cafe had, just upgraded.

I LOVE IT. I believe the person who wrote the bad review is totally wrong! Smoke n' o's are so much better that any other austin hookahs. Kasbahs however you spell its bad, pipes plus even worst.Smoke n o's have a wonder atmosphere, the OWNERS are awesome, and they have soo many selection in flavors. They are decent prices, they have no "rules" like the other hookah joints have. Its really laidback,have fun with friends, and a nice little study joint. I love this place, and I believe this place will be sticking around for a long time! Who knows they may even open another one! haha

my current favorite spot. I don't usually write reviews but reading what another customer wrote inspired me to log in and defend my favorite hookah joint. One of the things I really like about this place is that the owners keep it real... if I want I want to have someone kiss up to me, I go to the mall. If I want hypoallergenic, I go to a hospital. So they're not going to beg for my business... why should I ask them to? The OWNERS (not employees) have a spot that they sit at regularly, and they frequently invite others to join them there. The place is stylish, the hookahs are prepared well (and decently priced), the music is great and there are always interesting people to meet. Case closed.

dang...do i really have to even give them a star???. This place is horrible!!!! Ive gone to literally EVERY hookah bar in town. EVERY ONE! Smokin O's used to be Hookup Lounge and should have stayed that way. I've never dealt with such jerks before. The point of going is to relax and chill. These guys dont know a thing about customer service. They take up tables and sit on their laptops so customers cant pick where they'd like to sit. They have bad attitudes, and really dont care if you're there or not. Ive tried multiple times just to be able to rate them fairly. I can safely say that they WILL close down soon, so lets just wait to see what the next owners will bring in. In the mean time if you want a real, worth-wile hookah experience...check out Bubbler's or Pipes Plus.

Best in Austin. I'm always persuading new friends to go to this cafe now that they're sick of the Drag and 6th street. Smoke 'n O's is packed on the weekends, and a little quieter on weeknights so I can study (it's wireless) or watch movies on the big tv. This place is pretty addictive. Plus it keeps us entertained without getting drunk...so we can go to the cafe every night and never regret it in the morning. :) You're missing out if you havn't tried a hookah yet.
