Shopping >Danny Ray's Music
A great experience. First, I'm not a professional musician. Even though I'm not, and therefore not a steady stream of income, these folks took care of my needs right away. I called ahead and was informed they were busy at the moment but I could leave my daughters guitair and pick it up later. When I arrived, it was not as hectic as earlier and they fixed it up within the hour. That is GREAT customer service. I could not be happier. The cost seemed to be very reasonable too. Thanks to the team at Danny Ray's for excellent customer service.
This is the Best Alternative to the Big Box Retailer.
I had the best experience I have ever had at a music store at Danny Ray's Music.
They have the largest selection and if they don't have it in stock they will get it.
Marshall, Orange Amps, Fender, Martin, Breedlove, Behrenger, Takamine, Yamaha and Epiphone you name it they have it.
David and Ray the sales people are the most Knowledgeble in the Business.
ARE YOU SERIOUS?? WTF??.
I went to this "music store" today and I've never been more insulted, disgusted, and offended in MY ENTIRE LIFE.
This "manager" or "owner" was VERY unhelpful and just plainly uncaring. If you believe that's all I have to say then you should be surprised then to know that the white customer who "it", the owner, was speaking with, he doesn't have a soul by the way, was having a great time with this creature and then he showed him off with a "come by anytime any day". OH but not ME. Not this half white and half Native-American person. He not only ignored me but didn't even bother trying to provide information about the products. Then after me trying to see what some of their products sounded like to see what instrument I would purchase next for my collection I was stopped short by "it", the owner, and told that if I wasn't going to buy anything RIGHT NOW I need to leave.(RACIST)
...hah....my ENTIRE FAMILY IS MADE OF VETERANS THAT FOUGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY!!!!
This creature is disgusting. I seriously was about to beat this loser across the head with the bass guitar in my hand but I didn't want to sink to "it's" level so I just left and here I am completely amazed this bastard actually has a job with "it's" racist attitude.
I am reporting this shop to the better business bureau and I'm hoping they will put him, I mean "it", on the street and destroy "it's" music business. This was just sad and extremely pathetic. I'm a Christian and it's sad because I wish this thing would burn in hell for hating based on color.
Can't find a nicer bunch of folks. Great selection of musical instruments, amps and some accessories. Good prices, not a lot of wanna-be's playing guitar at 10 while your trying to shop, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not a lot of sound reinforcement stuff or accessories (pedal boards, for example) but that's probably because of the store's size. I understand there is a new location being planned that will be much larger and no doubt will have more of that stuff.
Danny Ellis - owner is not a person of his word!. I called Danny Ellis, owner of Dan Rays Music to ask him the price of a keyboard I wanted to buy and he told me $237.00 because he said it was on sale. I live quite a distance from his store, but went to pick up the keyboard because it was such a good deal. When I got there, Danny looked at the price on the keyboard he had on display and quickly exclaimed, "Oh dear, I think I made a mistake. Do you remember how much I told you was the price of this keyboard?" I said, "Of course......$237.00." He said, "I can't sell it for that price. I don't know what I was thinking." He then told me the correct price would be $330.00. I could not believe what he was saying. As a person of integrity, he should have honored what he told me on the phone. He left me with such a DISGUSTING feeling regarding his character that I will never go there again and never recommend him to anyone I know.
This was an honest mistake. I apologized for my error and offered to sell the keyboard at my cost and even showed her what that was, which by far beat any other price being offered at other stores.
Great music store and repair shop. This store should be "your" music store if you live anywhere near it. It has a great selection of instruments and accessories, plus a great in-house repair shop. They will treat you right and you will always get quality in every aspect as any small shop owned and operated by the owner. Their survival depends on you loving this place and they deliver. Also they are very aware of large corp. competitors prices and they price the same or very, very close to it. Support the locals and make this your music store.
Best Music Store in Round Rock.
I was very glad to see a music store the caliber of Danny Ray's come into Round Rock. Not only do they have a fantastic selection of Fender and Martin products, but they are very nice and a pleasure to do business with. I got a great deal on a Fender Telecaster and I plan to make several more purchases there in the near future.
I recommend them highly to all my music business friends. Great store, great selection, great to do business with.
