KEVIN WITH SALON SOVAY. I WAS LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO GET A GOOD HAIRCUT AND FOUND IT ! I JUST HAPPENED TO LOOK AT THE CITY SEARCH COMMENTS ON KEVIN AND THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE HIM A TRY....GLAD I DID. WHEN I GOT HOME LAST NIGHT BY 11 YEAR OLD AND 6 YEAR OLD BOYS THOUGHT MY HAIRCUT WAS PRETTY. IT WAS REALLY SPECIAL FOR ME TO HEAR MY 6 YEAR OLD HUNG ME GOOD NIGHT AND SAY AGIAN ... "MOM, I REALLY LIKE YOUR HAIR". WHAT A GREAT COMPLIMENT COMING FROM A LITTLE BOY !! KEVIN DID A FANTASTIC JOB. I WILL BE BACK FOR MY COLOR SOON !

Can't say enough good things. I have been searching for two years to find a stylist in Austin. I am soooo happy to say the search is over. Kevin knew right away what to do with my hair. I had just met him, but I felt very confident in his abilities. The color and cut are fantastic, and it has been a few days so I have "done" it on my own and it is great. I didn't find myself searching for conversation with him either. It all just flowed. He is a keeper.

Kevin amazes.... After having tried six stylists when I moved to Austin, I found Kevin purely by accident. I can't imagine life without him. I've always had problems finding a stylist who can deal with my wavy, partially curly hair. Kevin found the mark with the first cut. Bad hair days are a thing of the past thanks to Kevin. Besides his incredible talent, he is fun....very personable.....just a really nice person. I always look forward to seeing him and feel like a million when I leave the salon. He makes my day.

Trusted Hairdresser/cutter/colorist!. Kevin is a true artist. I trust him completely to give me a cut and color that totally compliments my face. He is fun and full of life and truly loves what he does, and it comes across every minute that he works with you. Not only do you get the best cut you've ever had, but you want to take him out to coffee and be friends with him. I am thrilled that I found him and plan to never stop seeing him.

Kevin has great talent for cutting hair and is very personable and honest. Kevin cut my hair for the first time a week ago. I have received many compliments on my cut during the past week. My salon visit was such a pleasurable and fun experience. Kevin is honest and down-to-earth and does a wonderful job cutting hair. He takes his time as well; not rushing through , but making sure he obtains the exact look you and he are both wanting to achieve. I highly recomend Kevin for an all around positive experience and a great cut that will flatter your face and get many compliments.

I am looking forward to my next visit and having him color my hair as well.

***Follow-up: Kevin colored my hair yesterday and it looks great! He did not go too extreme with the color or anything thing that I was not comfortable in trying. He truly listened to what I wanted and gave his input as well. My hair is shiny and the color is definately flattering to my complexion. I am positive I'll go back to Kevin next time for color and be a little more bold. I trust he'll do something that will look great and fit my look and personality. Also , I have to agree with the post by kaykelso , you do want to be frends with him. It is always such a fun experience seeing him.

My best haircut that I've ever had. I've tried several highly rated salons in Austin, and many did a good job, but Kevin is my favorite because he really takes the time to give you the best haircut for you. He takes the time to cut it really well (which is important for me because I do not like to spend much time styling it, but since the haircut is so good, I don't have to), and he tells you exactly what you need to do to style it. I get a lot of compliments on my hair now, even though I don't spend a lot of time on it.

Just like each turn of a kaleidoscope so is Kevin Carter's talents; they are so multi faceted that I see new strengths with each visit. Kevin is a genius with color and gives a superb cut. Show him a picture, and he executes the cut to perfection.

However, if a certain color or cut would not flatter you, he will tell you in the most professional way, but will always offer several alternatives. When Kevin picks up his shears, magic happens!

When I first started visiting Kevin, my hair was not healthy. Now it begins to shine and looks better with each visit. If you want extraordinary color, an excellent cut, and a purely magical experience, try Kevin at Salon Sovay. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. He has a customer for life; I will follow him anywhere!
