Don't Judge a Boutique by its Neighbors. Don't be fooled by this optometry business sitting behind a convenient store in a small shopping center-

it has an urban, boutique feel to it inside. The staff is friendly and offer an explanation for each procedure/necessity of your appointment. I was late for my first visit after having trouble finding it and they were very accommodating and I was able to keep my appointment. Overall, for what matters, knowledge and service, this office gets my vote.

On the downside, I think the clothing display (items for sale) is tacky and out of place and there is not a clear seating/lobby area, just some cube shaped cushions stashed around for clients shopping for glasses frames. Also, the price for the exam is comparable (I called three places before deciding based on, ironically, location) though the cost of contacts seems high and I would recommend ordering them online instead.

Cons: cost of contacts, deceptive location, clothing display

The results couldn't be more clear!. Dr. Emery is awesome! She has a great love for her profession and it shines through. She took a great deal of time with me as a first time optics wearer and it couldn't have been a more pleasant experience.

Wonderful Experience. I had a wonderful experience at Distinct Vision Julia Emery's office. She is professional and knowledgeable. She explained everything in great detail. I immediately felt comfortable in her office and trusted her completely. Julia Emery has my highest recommendation.

Great care on all levels. I've worn glasses and contacts for MANY years and have family genetics that make my eye care important. Dr. Emery and Distinct Vision provide thorough exams and information on your eye health AND helped me find fabulous glasses that I get compliments on from all ages and genders. Plus, she introduced my Over 40 eyes to multifocal contacts that have changed my life - I can read without looking like a granny!! Thank You!

Wonderful Experience. Loved the office and my new contacts and sun glasses.

They were recommended by a friend and I am very glad i went. Nice to find a place where you can find frames that are not the same as everyone elses.

I would highly recommend.

Really nice office and great staff!. I needed to find a new optometrist and tried Distinct Vision and was REALLY happy with my choice. Dr. Emery was actually recommended to me by two separate people, and I can see why. She was very friendly and helpful, explained my options, and her staff helped me select some really awesome frames within my budget. GREAT SELECTION!!! And the office is very nice. I'll definitely be going back.

Aweful. Aside from waiting months for my contacts, the pushy curly haired girl who was suppose to an "eyewear cunsultant" was far from it. I found a pair of glasses I felt very comfortable in and that fit my budget and she basically told me they looked aweful and kept pushing me towards the "boutique" lines that were WAY out of my price range. So back to the contacts, after over a month of being on "back order" I finally started calling around other places. They told me that there was no way my prescription was on back order because it was so common. SO not only are they pushy, they are liars. After really pushing them they finally came in. They play like they are so just peachy nice, but I don't know. I ended up getting my glasses somewhere else with a real "eyewear consultant" and I am quite pleased....so if you must go there, don't expect to get your contacts in a timely fashion...I would get them elsewhere. I am wondering if this is something one should report....

Great Experience. I was looking for some quality sunglasses cause I am tired of cheap low end brands. A friend of mine mentioned Distinct Vision. I was surprised that an optometrist's office would have sunglasses but what do I know. I stopped by and was very impressed. Not only did they have great sunglasses with a bunch of choices but the store is really cool. The girls in the office took the time to help try on a ton of different kinds and their input really helped me make a decision (not my strong suit). I have found my new optometrist and its also close to my house. Hooray.

Distinct Vision.......Great Dr, Excellent Service, Wide Range in Selection. It was easy to get a convenient appointment. I even confirmed the appointment by email. When I arrived, I was taken into an exam room right away. Dr. Emery explained things as we went along, which I appreciated. Also, the Optomap machine is a great option instead of having to have your eyes dilated. She has a very informative web site. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me pick out a new pair of frames. I could now be happier with my visit. I would highly recommend this optometrist to friends and family!

Never again........ I have been wearing glasses since I was a kid..and now that I have peeked into a "Mature" age, I thought I would go to a place that was a little fancier than I normally do. Fancy.... I got.. but the help.. REALLY? I asked questions and got nothing but unfilled and untrue answers. I am not sure where the girls got their training...but I think the monkey at the zoo could have done better.

The tact in the office was unREAL.

I will never make that mistake again... and neither should you.
