We love our new kitchen!. After checking Angie's list and consulting with three contractors, we chose Signature Home Improvements to remodel our 22-year-old kitchen. We wanted new cabinets with inserts, granite countertops, tile backsplash, cabinet lights and wallpaper removal. Estimates were about the same from all three companies, but we were impressed with the fact that Signature would do nearly all the work, rather than subcontracting, which meant they could complete it in a much shorter time period (three weeks compared to up to three months) than the other two companies we contacted. Mickey was very knowledgeable and was able to give us an estimate on the spot that was very close to what we ultimately spent.. After we committed to a contract, Armanzo came out to measure and to tweak our design plan. He had great suggestions that resulted in a very attractive and very functional kitchen. The demolition was limited to about a week and the mess was kept to a minimum with plastic sheeting. The cabinets were being constructed in their shop during that time, so they were ready for installation as soon as the demolition, painting and wiring were complete. When all the lower cabinets were in place, templets were drawn for the granite counters and they were installed a few days later. Lastly, the backsplash was intstalled. The majority of the work was done in the estimated time. From start to finish, the workers were polite, knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves every day. When everything was complete, Armanzo meticulously went over every inch of the kitchen to personally fix anything that was not perfect. We now have the kitchen we had dreamed about for years. In a year or two we plan to remodel our bathrooms and Signature will be our first choice.…
Dream Bath Realized!.
We did a complete renovation of our guest bathroom including removal of the tub, moving the toilet, taking out the double vanity and installing a pocket door to replace the regular door.
Signature was great from planning to completion! Everyone, to a person was skilled, friendly and responsive to our needs. We were called each evening by the office staff to review the plans for the next day and who would be arriving at our home.
They installed beautiful travertine tile in the new, curbless shower, on the floor and a 48" wainscotting on the walls. The custom single vanity cabinet with granite top is amazing and they even built a ponywall between the vanity and toilet with adjustable shelving to my specifications. Frameless, sliding glass door was installed in the new 45" wide shower.
We would definitely recommend them and will use them again when other projects arise. Completely satisfied.…
Great cabinet renovation. We upgraded our kitchen five years ago but didn't replace the cabinets at that time becuase they still looked good and were completely serviceable. After five years they had started to show wear and tear. Signature Home Improvement offered a very cost effective solution to our problem in cabinet tinting. They provided an in home visit to scope the work and provided an accurate estimate of the efforts. They completed the work on schedule and within the cost estimate. The workmen were professional, courteous and responsive to our requests. We love the results and are totally satisfied with the project and strongly recommend them to anyone looking for similar services. Definitely a five star company!…
Great experience.
My husband and I were incredibly impressed by Signature Home Improvements. We remodeled our "master bath" in our 1950's ranch home (quotations used because the bathroom was the size of a coffin --
were people Hobbits back in the 50s?!). We gave up our original master closet to gain more room for the bathroom, and lost a little square footage in the bedroom to add in a new closet.
Our project included the following tasks: demo, wall construction, flooring, tile, cabinetry, putting up drywall and insulation, moving plumbing, moving light fixtures, patching walls, hanging doors and bi-fold doors, installing glass shower doors, painting, matching our old moulding and installing/repairing our hardwood floor (where needed). They also had to match the 50's style texturing on the walls in the bedroom, but in the bathroom I requested and got a much smoother wall finish, since all the walls were replaced.
The benefit of going with SHI is that MOST of the work is done in-house and they have a much tighter control on costs and scheduling. They have a much better grasp of time frames, costs, scale of work, etc. and communication is a lot easier when you are dealing with one company.
I have heard friends' horror stories about construction and escalating costs, and I experienced none of that. My husband is an architect and has had to create tons of punch lists for projects to catch errors made during construction. He was so extremely impressed when it was our time to make a punch list at the end of the project -- everything was done at a high quality and done right the first time.
The staff at SHI was always courteous and professional, and I felt like I could communicate with them easily during the entire project. I would recommend them to any of my friends in town.
Also: I posted photos of my new bathroom on Facebook and a friend gave me the ultimate compliment: "At first I thought this was a photo of a fancy hotel you were staying in. This is your home? That's lovely!"…

Everyone at Signature Home Improvement was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely hire them for our next remodel project.
Our initial contact was with Jason Flippo (founder) who came to our home to gather information, measurements, and scope the project for an estimate. Later, we went to Signature Home Improvement's office to finalize a contract and take a tour of their facility.
The office staff (Heather, Savannah, and Mimi) coordinated workflow, materials and schedules. They communicated with us everyday to let us know what to expect. We were never in the dark about when the next craftsman would arrive and the work they would perform.
The project supervisor (Armanzo) came by frequently (every day at the start of the project). He helped us a lot by coming up with multiple design alternatives for vaious aspects of the project, and then helping us choose one that made sense.
The craftsmen (Ventura, Carlos, Martin, Aurelio, Tara, Joe, Sergio; apologies for any names I omitted) arrived either on time or slightly earlier than scheduled every day. They were friendly, skilled, and thorough. They were professional and treated us and our house with courtesy and respect. Except where logistics prevented it (waiting for grout to dry, epoxy to cure, etc.), someone was working every day. Their attention to detail and quality is very much appreciated. There are also many craftsmen (whose work was completed at Signature Home's facility; cabinet builders, painters, stone fabricators, etc.) whom we never met. Their attention to detail and quality is also very much appreciated.
They took steps to protect floors, walls, and furniture that were not part of the remodel. The crew cleaned up every day and at the end of the project hauled away excess construction materials.
The only way our project could have gone better is if they did it for free.…
