Horrible. This was one of the worst dining events in Austin. The "food" was over-priced garbage. You cant get any further from Mexican food than this sorry excuse for a restaurant. Who in their right mind puts anice in their salsa????? That was the nastiest krap I ever tasted!

Don't Even Bother. My worst dining experience in Austin. The shrimp were overcooked and stringy- soggy pasta with meat sauce had virtually no meat and was swimming in grease-chicken carbonara was drowned in cream and nothing else. The pasta was taken off the bill as even the manager thought it was substandard. I feel further adjustments should have been made for the other two flop meals. Why would a restaurant be half Mexican and half pseudo-Italian? They should concentrate on doing one cusine well instead of two so poorly.

Awful Lunch. Went to lunch it the "mexican" side of the restaurant. The service was dismal and the food was awful. Had a steak burrito tasted like a saltlick. For $9 what a rip off. Everyone at my job said they could have told me it was bad if they had known I was going.

Great Saturday night meal and service. Great service from Steve, professional, relaxed and not in your face.

Oysters Rockefeller were awesome.

I had chicken piccata, my wife had halibut and both were excellent.

As far as the first review posted here, they are probably as good of a judge of food and service as they are illiterate.

Modern Italian dining at the Y in Oak Hill for expert cocktails and lingering meals.. In Short
Formerly the Y Bar and Grill, this café-casual and date-friendly spot in Southwest Austin blends crisp, modern accents with a relaxed neighborhood vibe. The menu features Texas steakhouse classics with Italian touches like bacon-wrapped shrimp and artichoke-brie dip appetizers; aged steaks like the 16-ounce porterhouse, New York strip or veal chop; venison osso bucco; baked seafood au gratin and lobster ravioli. The spacious bar churns out expertly mixed martinis and specialty cocktails.

Good food, great drinks, casual atmosphere. I've been here a couple times. The steaks are great, and the bartenders mix excellent drinks. A casual yet modern setting, upscale food in comfortable surroundings. The only place of its kind in the area.
